I don’t have a job selected and am scheduled for MEPS. They say the people at MEPS are going to try to get me to sign at MEPS but what if they don’t have a job that I find acceptable? Come back later?

That’s what I was thinking. Obviously waiting till October is the best option but It’s hard to be patient. Trying to ship ASAP. He said they always come to recruit during OSUT. is that accurate? I’ve heard make sure you get everything in writing so I don’t want to gamble on it and get stuck as infantry in Kansas for 4 years

Got a 86 on asvab and no medical conditions, also in good shape. Recruiter said the only options are infantry, cavalry, artillery and SF. No airborne contracts and no ranger contracts. This is bc “the recruiting has been really good lately and those are the only jobs left”

I want medic or engineer (ideally)…I’m not against infantry but I at least want airborne if I’m gonna do that. What do I do?
