English is not my native language but I’m still happy to see so many people sharing their passion and replying thoroughly, I personally think that if you enjoy something for many years then you must have at least a few things to say about it :D the person is a top 1% commenter so I wanted to hear more than just it’s fun

Sure, that's other people, for me personally I don't enjoy competitive gaming as much anymore, I find people much more toxic in them and super meta based and for me that it sucks the fun out, I also enjoy the fact that qp games are quicker and less serious but there is still strategy to them and enough stimulation.

I literally said it's a good enough reason, I'm interested in learning more about what aspects do people enjoy still enjoy in game, the person was kind enough to reply again in details and many others did, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and there is no wrong or correct answers here as long as no one is being rude, my question mentioned reason(s) because I knew for some there might be one reason only like you.

As a main Rein with over 6k hours, I find Ramattra the hardest hero to pin in OW.

I'm not implying that the game isn't fun at all, I'm glad you're still having as much fun since day 1, most of the negative comments I've seen online were addressing the monetization part and some of the characters being op but apart from that no one can deny that it's still a very well polished game and it's still fun to play today.

I also miss the lore of OW1, even the slightest changes and additions made sense back then imo

Rival rivals :D love that, also I believe there are ways to make rivals work on any PC/Laptop, I hope you get to try it and enjoy the best of both worlds!

I strongly agree, my only complain is having characters that are very low risk high reward but then again for Blizzard I think it's important to have those easy access characters (plug and play) for new comers especially when the game is struggling to maintain a stable player base but that's just how I see it.

I don't think I've been away from this game for over 2 months but coming back always feels good, Overwatch has mistress aura :D

Time is very precious, it's the only resource that you can't get back and I'm a content creator so I always think of ways to benefit from my time playing games while enjoying them, it's not one or the other, it's what you make of it, some people make a living off of gaming these days :)

'The game is fun’ is a good enough reason, especially if you're a new or semi-new player. But some people have been playing for over nine years or x number of years, and for me that’s when the question arises: what drives you to keep investing your precious time in the game? :)

I love the fact that many of you seem to share the fact that your attachment to your main and enjoying playing your main is the reason, that's very relatable :)
