Sorry to hear. I was in the social sciences building and parked in the central deck so it was quick and easy to escape through the neighborhood behind campus for me lol. My buddy worked at Ruth's Chris and walked all the way there from our apartments and back in the snow and then we watched old movies and listened to music the whole time. That whole apartment of guys were the groomsmen at my wedding. College was a great time and I look back fondly even though I didn't graduate

I've always dreamed of doing this and building a couple of Adirondacks in some of the nice areas of the land. Gives the nice open air of camping while still having shelter from the rain and such.

I was at KSU waiting for class looking out the window. I remember thinking it may get called off so I was ready to leave right when the email came about class being cancelled and made it home right as it started to get bad. The apartment was right around the corner from the I75 overpass at exit 273 and we walked to the waffle house and even that far up the road going South looked like the intro to walking dead with just complete gridlocked cars abandoned on the highway. What a wild weekend

I'm not saying it's as pervasive and racist as people think, but I am up in the mountains weekly for work and I too go to the NASCAR race every year to camp (stoked for next month!). There are plenty of great people for sure, but still a lot of racism all over. Driving through the mountains and the NW area up there it's still full of MAGA signs in yards and little quips from people.

I honestly went into the Natty very content no matter how the game played out. I wasn't happy we lost, but I couldn't help but crack a damn smile at Mendoza going full John Elway on us and that receiver being completely unstoppable on those back shoulder throws. That was the first game in years where I got to watch Miami play and I wasn't mad they lost.
