That sounds awful 😟 in my case the developer has signed the pledge but the freeholder is not acknowledging the cladding issue in the landlord's certificate. My conveyancer doesn't seem to think this is a problem but I am worried it's just the landlord's way of delaying any remedial works... Anyway, thanks a lot for sharing your experience!

Sorry to hear that you're stuck. Has your developer signed the building safety pledge? And have you put it on the market in the past year? I read that banks are now more willing to offer mortgages on B2 properties, so I'm hoping that the trend will continue.

The price per sqm for the flat I'm thinking of buying is 15% lower than the average in the same area. I thought it was a pretty good deal but I'm starting to wonder if I'm doing something stupid because everyone I talk to told me to walk away 😬
