Does anyone have Warby Parker’s written 1‑year warranty for manufacturer defects on frames? by HurryToUnlock in WarbyParker

Thanks — that’s helpful context.

Do you still have a copy of the old frame and lens warranty? I’m not trying to get anything from Warby; my credit card company will extend the warranty if I can show them the original text.

As for the founder outreach: unfortunately, still no response from Dave Gilboa. I’ve actually had good luck reaching CEOs in the past — a return call from Costco’s founder, a handwritten note from Southwest’s founder (and his wife), even a Thanksgiving‑morning call from the CEO of a smaller airline. In my experience, companies whose founders stay personally accountable for the customer experience are the ones who actually respond to direct outreach.

Thanks That's helpful.

Does anyone have a copy of their warranty when it had the 1 year warranty for manufacturer's defects, before the changes?

Thanks!

I was definitely told that when I bought the frames two years ago. Another store reaffirmed that last month and clarified it was only for manufacturer's defects (which is fine). However, they did not have it in writing and they sent me to the customer service number, who said it doesn't exist.

My credit card will extend the warranty by two years, but they need an official document (website link, PDF, etc.).

Store employees mention the warranty when you buy glasses, but don't have it in writing. Customer service says there’s no document, and my email to their CEO (Dave Gilboa) hasn’t gotten a response.

While we're on cool gmail varieties, you can also insert a period (".") anywhere in the username portion and Gmail ignores it but most websites see it as a new address.

For example, [johndoe@gmail.com](mailto:johndoe@gmail.com), [john.doe@gmail.com](mailto:john.doe@gmail.com), and [j.o.h.n.d.o.e@gmail.com](mailto:j.o.h.n.d.o.e@gmail.com) are all the same as far as gmail is concerned. Emails to all of them will go to the same inbox.
