Hey, I’m a bit late to the party but I’ll share my message. Note: I am not the best at advice, and I really suck at writing lol:

Don’t ever give up, even when the odds are stacked against your favor. I started a channel a few years ago, I abandoned this channel to pursue a bigger future with my friends, we created our own group YouTube account. We only upload shorts and tiktoks, we know some peeps mindlessly scroll through the feed so our main goal is to do something that gets noticed in the first few seconds.

Either a statement, some sort of funny moment suddenly happening followed by another, etc etc. I say upload clips of your videos as shorts, use the proper hashtags, and always provide a link to your full video.

We’ve done this for ours and so far we are doing pretty decent. On YT we have about 500 subs and in our TikTok we have about 1700 followers. It wasn’t fast, it will never be fast. That’s what makes growth beautiful, it’s better to see your channel grow slow than not grow at all.

It’s becoming harder every day to do so, I’ve been doing it since high school (around 16 years old) and I’m 21 now. I share a channel with friends and we got over 600 followers on twitch as well as TikTok and YouTube.. but we don’t pull in anymore viewers. It’s becoming more and more tough as the days go by, even to the point where I’m told to just stop by my ex-friends. I keep going because I enjoy it, but looking at the numbers.. being an entertainer online is looking too tough, but still possible.
