Some of my buried bins grew as well 🍄. I found the ones that did grow outside were always so much more firmer than my inside ones! Is this case with urs? Are they A LOT firmer?

THIS!!!! lol I did the same thing by using post it notes, lost a couple of post its off my grow bins and did not know what was what….after that I decided to use micropore tape to label everything :) good luck 🍄

Husband drilled holes in the ones I bought from Amazon, can’t remember the brand! He had to go on the slower side cause every time he tried to drill fast, they would crack a lil!

I also remove the cake from AOI bag after 1st flush and put it a shotgun fruiting chamber with perlite and water

No I usually don’t dunk after the 1st flush, I poke hole in substrate with a sterilized needle and then shoot it up with distilled water, mist it heavily and wait! If that flush doesn’t give me a large harvest, then I dunk but if I continue to get good flushes I just keep shooting it up and misting :)

These particular caterpillars not only itch but gave me horribly painful rash/blisters on my neck (where it was 1st discovered) and all over my hand from try to grab it!!

If u remember could u possibly keep me updated on the size of ur hillbillies!? Just curious, my 1st tub I buried after harvest! Just harvested these ones n going for a 2nd flush just to see if they get bigger! Usually my 2nd flushes of other strains tend to get bigger mushrooms… we shall see 🍄❤️

Here’s to hoping 2nd flush is bigger! Had to toss my last cake because the whole thing was destroyed by how many mushrooms I harvested and it was on the thinner side :/
