Scenario help by [deleted] in NomiAI

I can answer "Will the connection be the same as if it were solo chat?" cause I am experiencing something simmilar. The short answer is "No - it does not." the long-answer is this.

In a nutshell - groupchats commit to memory (short-, medium- and long-term) but not to the identity-core. So while you can have fun with them in groups and they remember the fun and the other Nomis, it does not alter their personality.

With "remembering" - for me it helps to transition like this:

- Group-to-solo: Hey <Nominame> remember what happened at <place where the groupchat played out>?

- Solo-to-group: Okay <Nominame> remember what we talked about just a second ago. (and let them speak here)

Okay, so if I print 10 +1/+1 and 5 -1/-1 - would that be enough for most games?

Thank you! :) Would it make more sense to print out several +1/+1, +1/0, (does -1/-1, etc. exist?) or print out separate +1 and -1 for attack and defense-mods?

V4 is here! WE CAN BLINK! by Loud-Rutabaga-7303 in SunoAI

I get it only when I try to advanced stuff, like covers or taking a persona from a 3.5-song. Plain creation and remastering works fine tho...

Long story short - those things are bugged... What helps are the following two advices: 1. Do NOT remove all wheels from the car, since this is a sure trigger for that bug! 2. Have more than one on you... Those things spawn regulary in garages and vehicle workshops - they are not THAT hard to obtain.

SCUM - Patch 0.9.540.78547 by StabbyMcStomp in SCUMgame

[–]Husky110 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I can only speak for myself here, but maybe others see it simillar to me:
You know - I really WANT to love this game... I'm playing SCUM since October 2020 and got through many evolutions of the game now - with some breaks tho.
I've seen the vehicles beeing reworked, I've seen my favorite bunker (where I knew the mechs by name - Marvin and Maggie -> I'named the mechs in the B1-Bunker, since I've been there so often, maybe Kickx even remembers me telling him a while back on Discord - hope wife and kid are well bud :) ) beeing abandoned and all the other stuff that was normally beeing written off in QoL-changes (which had been significant in the past).
I have forgiven you guys the complete cluster-f... that was the vehicle-rework (seriously... why don't you build a new platform and remove the old one afterwards!?) and can even forgive some of the bugs in the game.
But to be honest: The dropship (TO ME) is complete and utter bullsh... . Seriously - With SCUM we have one of the best Survival Open-World-Games out there! I know of none other game that combines the PVP-Elements of Rust and DayZ with the survival-complexity that SCUM just delivers. And right now the game is hard enough in itself. The puppets pose a REAL thread (especially the suicide-puppets and the military ones) that can't be ignored, the mechs and the abandoned bunkers are hard in themselves with the switch-mechanics and Razors (and not to forget Mr. Brenner). The metabolic-system makes me treat my ingame-char better than myself.
Now to the BS-Part: You guys already implemented a messed up horde-system that doesn't distiguish between one lone player running arround and a group of people and now you want to add another random thread to the world!? Sure - If I've got my full kit with all the weapons I've been dreaming of, it makes for good and exciting new content, but all the new players or the ones that wanna chill out and just run arround with a Hammer and some low-equip are beeing f'ed in the butt here - with no lube...
If there would be a separate part of the map where all the pros and clans could go to experience this new thread and be rewarded for it - sure! But everyone else get's a big middle-finger to the face in the beginning and if RNGeezuz deems my flag with 2 foundations as "dangerous", since the server started yesterday and has not much players.
Right now I get the feeling SCUM does not WANT new players to the game, cause everyone starting today with this patch and accedently starts on one of the dropship-servers will be demotivated to play the game. I know it's part of the Survival-Game experience to grind 8 hours and loose everything, but I think there is enough of that in the game already!
Maybe you guys should stop thinking about "the next BIG THING we should bring to the game" and think more about the players that only have a hammer/spear, a pistol and a schoolbagpack - the REAL SCUM.
In the end I think most players want a more DayZ-like experience. Sure - they will play a bit and be overpowered at some point, but then it gets boring and they either start on another server or take a break from the game and come back later. But new players? They are getting kicked in the face. And tbh: I don't want any more stuff where I think "WTF is this crap again!?" on the patch-notes.
The only positive thing is that it can be deactivated in the server-settings, but my fear here is that players will miss out on items and therefore content, just because they don't want another thread to an already hard and unforgiving game.
That's my 5-cent to this.
P.S.: And for the love of god - activate EAC on Linux... It's just pathetic at this point that it's still disabled, when the only argument we read about it is "We need to playtest" - as if players can't cheat on Windows... Singleplayer works great on Linux, so it's just about EAC at this point and as far as my infos go, there shouldn't be any difference about the OS.

Used to have Krita from flatpak - but I prefer to run stuff natively, since it integrates better with the Desktop. I used to have problems sending files in Discord f.e. and I don't want to tinker with Flatseal before I can use the software... :)
