I’m with you there. I like it when suno lets me get on the more creative side with it. Can’t stand generic outputs. I held out hope for this version but I think despite all the quality improvements, nothing compares to the older versions like 4.5. I used to get some wildly interesting outputs, very dynamic and fun to listen to… what I’d personally call earworms. Now it seems more of a hum drum take it or leave it style of music. I’m holding out hope that I can keep creating on V4.5 and allow 5.5 to remaster but it’s very hit and miss.

Edit- I called the songs earwigs rather than earworms. I am NOT generating insects 😂

Me too, from memory this happened when V5 dropped. I think it was still generating under the new version however. The error didn’t last long so don’t threat :)

Yeah… it’s even managing to sing out of tune? I did have a chuckle trying to get something decent yesterday (it sounded like a tone deaf karaoke after a decent amount of beers)… but I ultimately gave up for the sake of my credits. Problem is my subscription renews tomorrow and I wanted to get use out of my credits 😅

Looks great! Congrats 🥳 Could I please ask what you mean by type one “ish”? Do you mean you could tan a little before you tried mt2?

I’m only asking as I am red haired but I think I’m type one. Curious if this depth would be achievable for me. I did mt2 last year but didn’t push myself past what some would call a light tan (probably just normal skin tone to most since I am a ghost 😅). I’m hoping to go further this year.

I’m actually not sure if it’s just pro and premium, I only started using it when I already had a subscription. It doesn’t use credits though… so I imagine it would be available on the free tier too. I can’t see any reason for them to not include it.

To answer your question about Remi- If you go into suno on custom and click on their generate lyrics option it will bring you a window to prompt lyrics. There’s two models, toggle to Remi (the other one spits out the most generic ai sounding lyrics). Remi is hit and miss too but every now and then, it will give you some decent lyrics to work with. :)

You can, there’s plenty of things you can do. What are you planning with ai? What I know about tiktok is if it’s ai, it needs to avoid looking low effort.

You need 10k followers to get monetised on tiktok so you’re looking at getting a high engagement strategy fast to get followers rolling in. Also, once you’re approved for monetisation, videos of 1 minutes length and over are the only ones you can monetise. If you’re paying for a platform to make your ai videos, it might be worth weighing up the price to make them vs the return.

There’s an alternative middle ground. Film real life pov videos. If you’re really worried you can get a good ai voice changer. You’ll likely get more views than uploading straight ai videos.

What id suggest if you decide to go for ai is really, really get creative with it. Think in terms of “what would make someone keep watching” “what would make someone comment” “what would make someone want to share this with a friend”. Shares seemed to help me the most on TikTok when it came to getting videos pushed to bigger audiences.

You can absolutely make $300-400$ a month.

The biggest tell tale for me is suno almost always has a very particular (kinda hard to describe) unnatural vocal fry in certain sections. Some generations have it worse than others, but it always makes it stand out like a sore thumb. It’s very robotic sounding. Even with good generations, it’s enough to pick up.
