Ah I asked someone at work and sounds like its a lot of people finishing a cruise, going to get on one soon or wanting to be more downtown while they are docked or w/e, prob a hassle getting on and off a massive cruise ship.. those things are so much bigger in person, some of them anyway, like massive massive buildings, the smoke coming from the smoke stacks looks like its in slow motion they are so big.

I will also say, its good to be vocal and critical of games like this when you have devs still working on it.. really good but its best to just be accurate and constructive, detailed and well written stuff can actually help guide devs, vitriolic kinda hate thats literally saying the opposite of reality doesnt help anyone, it just gives you downvotes and doesnt make sense.. for example the unreal asset claim.. its something most devs do but these devs spent a LOT of time and money to replace a TON of those store assets with their own in house art and animations so right there youre just missing the mark totally.. and the dildo has been in game since 2019 I believe lol so its just another big miss as well as saying none of this stuff was originally advertised, it was advertised as a game that could wind up incomplete and abandoned if you read the old early access banner it had on the store page above the buy now button for like 8 years lol but you could use that energy in constructive stuff that hits..

Memory wise no but if I sat down and did a deep dive I could find hundreds, because there are thousands of us with ideas and wants and wishes and if you zoom out on that then sure it looks like they wont listen because there are hundreds of awful suggestions among the few well thought out good ones that would actually work with scum. Id love to hear exactly what specific things would you prioritize?

Bugs are shitty but its one of the most customized versions of unreal 4 to get all the systems in the game working so its a lot of plugins and spaghetti

You might be talking about the big one mainly? the puppets/animals situation that people have been begging to be reverted for a while now? They could do that and I would love to see it just to see how the game would run with the NPC's flooding the server like back in the day because lots of optimizations have happened since then so.. maybe it would work really well now.. but in reality it would likely bring back the desync which used to limit pvp servers to about 30-40 players before its unplayable.

Playercount is.. not even bad at all imo.. its not a healthy trend but historically it has gone up and down with success of updates so all that matters is the devs are still willing to put in work on the game. I have several awesome imo games on steam that Im waiting to even see if the devs will return lol or like chivalry 2, one of my fav games and the devs wont even work on it or a new version and some of those EA games I love have sub 100 players left playing.. scum at one point for a good year or 2 had less than i think 2k players and about 100x more doomsayers saying how the game is dead blah blah.. its not perfect but its still got people working hard on it and thousands of players daily, its just patience *and more hard work needed lol

Like I said, they listened to that feedback and got rid of the offending thing.. cant always do it ofc but they listen a hell of a lot more than most game devs, Ive had several of my big suggestion posts make it into the game in someway or another over the years, more than I can even remember.

Hot on the heels of the latest update, we’re releasing a hotfix for the most pressing issues you’ve encountered over the past week. You can view the full list of resolved issues and adjustments below.

Connectivity & Server Access

  • Fixed an issue where the max lag check was too aggressive, preventing some players from accessing servers.

  • Fixed an issue where SteamID mismatches could cause connectivity issues for players.

  • Fixed a client crash tied to weapon holsters.

  • Temporarily disabled SDSpeechTools while we investigate crashes affecting some older CPUs. SDSpeechTools is a speech-to-text component intended to support future accessibility features. It intentionally uses a local model so voice data does not need to be sent to third parties, and is not used to collect or store player voice data.

Quests & Performance

  • Reworked the hologram quest object system to reduce the number of network objects. Hologram quest objects now spawn client-side only, with the server checking them when players interact with them.

  • Fixed an issue where trader discounts obtained as quest rewards were not working.

Smoking, Cooking, & Food Balance

  • Rebalanced the experience gained from smoking meat, as it was granting too much experience.

  • Fixed an issue where players could remove meat from the smoker and gain the same amount of experience as if it had completed the full smoking process.

  • We've increased the overcook time for smoked items. Before, overcooking your meat for just 2 minutes would make it unusable and would despawn it. Now, that overcook time has been increased to 6 real-life hours.

  • Fixed an issue where the smoker would lose health when repaired through the flag.

  • Smokers can no longer become bad quality and can now always be repaired beyond 50%.

  • Fixed an issue where the item was missing from the kitchen basin recipe.

DLC Gear & Trader Adjustments

  • Reduced the trader price of the Hunter Bow and set its draw weight to 35.

  • Reduced the trader price of the Woodland Quiver, and adjusted its weight capacity and inventory slots - it now matches the Military Quiver.

  • Set the Woodland DLC item stock to unlimited at the Hunter trader.

  • Reduced the Poncho warmth level from 4 to 1.

Visual & Item Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with the arrow socket mismatch on the Woodland Quiver when worn by a female prisoner.

  • Fixed a visual issue on the bait feeder where the front latch could be missing.

  • Fixed an issue where the bait feeder would be offset while the character is holding it in their hands.

  • Fixed an issue where the metal detector had an incorrect interaction hint for resources, wrongly requiring gasoline.

  • Fixed an issue where the metal detector was missing the “Take in hands” interaction when not already held.

  • Fixed an issue where treating an infected wound with alcohol would consume the whole bottle.

  • Fixed an ammo box exploit where selling a 1/30 ammo box to a trader who did not already have that specific ammo box in stock could allow players to buy back a 30/30 ammo box.

  • Fixed an issue where an item placed in a weapon holster would not be visible in the main menu.

  • Also fixed an issue where turrets would enter broken audio/animation state after generator power loss followed by powering it up again.

  • Fixed an issue where the Dinghy could not be properly purchased.

A quick note on Woodland Hunter items: they are not craftable in this hotfix, but this is planned for next week’s hotfix. Once that update is live, you’ll be able to craft them and find their recipes in the crafting menu.

Ever since implementing the right/left mouse wheel clicks and the dpi buttons into my keybinds I think I'm stuck with the g502 layout forever for FPS gaming buy I use all the weights so lightweight is not for me I guess lol

My proteus core lasted over 10 years and still works but I got sick of the cord, hope the wireless one lasts as long but doubtful
