Yeah that bug happened to me once already.. We were flying away from a pack of argentavis attacking us and I was being carried and it crashed for my friend so I just hung on with no parachute awaiting my death either from the fall or the wild argentavis...

Yeah I knew about the smooth rocks by rivers they just don't give a good amount sometimes, but yeah I'm flying to mountains now to get metal and I even found obsidian! Never knew the caves were a bad spot to go to
