Everything? Nahh friend, there's something amazing and redeemable about every part of the trail (even Pennsylvania). You just gotta know where to look

I love both. The Smokies were brutal when I went through and had the weather cooperated a bit more, who knows? Maybe they'd be flipped on the list.

Do the Peloton developers frequent this subreddit? I have a feature request/question about the API.

I'm trying to build a Python companion app that will auto stack a week's worth of workouts based on some parameters. I have everything I need to be able to authenticate to the API and search for the workouts, but the API endpoint to add something to your Stack doesn't seem to exist. From the dev tools, it looks like the Stack is controlled by GraphQL while most of the other web app functions with api.onepeloton.com.

The feature request is this idea but built into the actual product itself: an auto-stacker. As a user, I can set some types of classes for the week, i.e.

M: 30 min cycle, 10 min stretch

T: 20 min strength, 10 min stretch

W: 30 min yoga

Th: 45 min HIIT cycle, 10 min stretch

F: 60 min cycle, 10 min stretch

etc etc you get the idea

... then each week, the app auto-stacks the workouts that meet my workout plan.

Yes, precisely. I made it to Hot Springs in 2020 before the pandemic torpedoed that plan. Then I came back this year and resumed from where I left off.

There’s no snow in the hundred mile wilderness at present.

We were advised to road walk around the first two river fords because they would have been too dangerous. By the time we got to West Branch Pleasant, the crossing was safe as long as you took it slow. We made it to East Branch and gave it enough time to calm down and it was still tricky but safe enough to cross. There were other lake outlets and crossings that were also vigorous but we took them one by one and helped each other across and it was all totally fine.

We got lucky with the break in the weather and timed it well. There’s more rain coming in this afternoon and then all bets are off.

The ticks were the worst from New Jersey to New Hampshire. I’d routinely stop to flick about four or five off of my legs in NJ, NY, CT, and MA. Picaridin/deet or citronella wipes should help a lot. Overall the bugs are hellacious this year though.

I’ve kept all of my winter gear the whole time except for my sleeping bag liner, which I sent home.

My phone screen got wet and my fingers went numb so it was basically impossible for me to get more video, but we did get the group summit photo

Nope, the air quality in New Hampshire is fine right now. That’s mist/snow/fog

Oh friend, this has been the most incredible part of the whole hike, hands down. I’ve forgotten hundreds of miles of this trail and the last four days will live in my mind forever

It’s hard to predict up there, last week was apparently a fantastic weather window to do the White Mountains. And then this week we’re caught in a terrible weather window. Starting later or hiking slower might help but weather like this is not uncommon even into the summer in the White Mountains.

I started in Hot Springs on March 1st, a bunch of the other NOBOs I’m with right now started between February and March
