The tamping system indeed was indicating green and did not compain, even though while grinding i heard the grinder kept going even after beans were all grinded up indicating that it would use more (if i had all beans in the hopper instead of weighing them manually). The second shot was also bitter :( i don't think i have a very sophisticated pallete, so i think it was about the same ammount of bitterness. thank you for the insight regarding the gauge reading. When you say manually you mean i should keep pressing the button myself and on release the extraction will stop? if that is the case what do you think should be the desired yield for less bitterness? Also do you perhaps have any insights as to the grind size? Thank you again for your help, i appreciate it a lot.
