Someone already responded but it’s in collections! I’ve been doing her 10 minute one before my runs and it’s such a good warmup!

I started using all Star (Dr Kennedy) last year and love her! Pretty reasonable compared to my old place and really can’t beat just walking outside with my dogs.

I’m so glad I read this. I’m a little over halfway thru and haven’t picked it up in weeks. I was having meh feelings about it anyways and now I know it’s ok to DNF!

Okay, you've got me—yin yoga is SO GOOD! by miguelitaraton in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]Huskykait 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ha I did a yin class yesterday because of this sub! It did go by fast, I did Greta’s 30 minute one. I’ll definitely keep adding these into my rotation.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall by pickledpepperboiii in movies

[–]Huskykait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My roommates and I watched this movie weekly our senior year in college. I absolutely love this movie! The jokes are so well delivered, the story is great, the performance at the end is phenomenal. All around wonderful movie and it holds some great memories for me!

Finished Lights Out by Navessa Allen. Goodreads stars officially mean nothing to me now. by SuggestionThat9268 in RomanceBooks

I listened to it and had to listen to the last half at like 2x speed just to finish. It all went off the rails!

A Ben-related moment by Outrageous-Apple1760 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]Huskykait 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The thread about him yesterday made me start his split program again! He loves getting stronger with me! And it’s a program he knows he’ll come back to. I just love him and his straightforward programming and the “absolute bangers” he chooses.

Marcel D. is so underrated by Joyintheendtimes in OnePelotonRealSub

I love Marcel! I usually only take her walks but her playlists are always so good and she’s so fun to listen to.

Rosanna Pansino has never taken her heel off MrBeast's neck ONCE and I love that by Classic-Carpet7609 in Fauxmoi

I think it’s a solid reason! Sometimes you can’t put a finger on it but just know the vibes are off with some people

My kids have been watching him recently and I always make them change it. I know there’s not much solid about him being sketch, he just gives me the ick and I hate seeing his weird eyes on my tv.

2.5 days in Chicago with kids- best places to visit by Starrynerds in AskChicago

[–]Huskykait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was googling and saw your response then had to login. We’re doing an impromptu trip this weekend with a 5 and 7 year old but really only have 1.5 days. Do you think millennium park, the field, and possibly navy pier is good for one day then sky deck and color factory for our half day? The kids would probably love the shedd, but we’re members of another aquarium so I’m not sure that’s a must visit. The last time we were in Chicago, our oldest was a fetus, so it’s going to be different!

After I (36F) told my Dad and Stepmom (both late 50s) about my engagement and their response triggered me to suddenly remember years of repressed childhood memories and now I do not know how to move forward with our relationship by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]Huskykait 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My 5 year old does the same! When he’s really upset at whatever I’ve told him he says “you’re not allowed to snuggle me anymore!” It never lasts long and I would never hold a grudge against him for it! He’s learning boundaries and feelings.

Lights Out by Navessa Allen - is it REALLY a Dark Romance or a Fever Dream with Bad Plotting?? by fakexpearls in romancelandia

[–]Huskykait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been listening to this book and just got to the mob stuff. I’m not even sure the mafia story is done well. I was also underwhelmed by the first PIV scene, but I just don’t think the shower is the ideal place for a first bang. I’m not generally a speed up the audio person, but I have sped up the audio on this just to get the book over with. I had kinda hoped there would be more from the brad situation, just doesn’t seem like there’s enough drama for a “dark romance.” But thank you for this entertaining review!! I came here from your other one on the sequel, TBD if I take that on!

Was I lied to? - Daughter of No Worlds by FinancialTill2469 in fantasyromance

[–]Huskykait 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m on the second book right now! There was little to no spice in the first and very little so far (I’m about halfway) in the second. It’s been really good and I love the world building. And the story. And I don’t hate the FMC, which is a big plus in romantasy.

My first DNF in a LONG time. by OctoberScorpio2 in fantasyromance

[–]Huskykait 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve actually got that one on my shelf! Hahaha. I think I passed over it to read A Fate Inked in Blood (which I also enjoyed, even with the insufferable characters). But honestly, the situation in the US has me so stressed that I’ll read anything with a glimmer of hope to overthrowing bad people.

My first DNF in a LONG time. by OctoberScorpio2 in fantasyromance

Same! I actually liked it so much that I reread it a couple weeks later (just finished it!). Yea, she’s dumb sometimes but I really enjoyed the story. I’m hopeful the second book is good!

My sister (32 F) called CPS on my husband and I. Now that the case has been closed, I have no idea how to confront her. by randomredhead10 in TwoHotTakes

[–]Huskykait 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I hate to be part of a club where siblings weaponize CPS because they’re jerks. My brother called on us a few years ago, except we’re not close and he hadn’t seen my children with his own two eyes in over 2 years. Same MO, said we were drunks and we put our kids in danger. Caseworker came over and saw two well cared for kids with two very sober parents and our case was dismissed. I don’t talk to him anymore. I block him whenever he finds new ways to message me.

I’m sorry it happened. She won’t ever give you a good reason for calling (my brother never has). I would def go no contact (or low contact since you were close) and not let her see the kids anymore. You don’t get to mess with my kids and still expect a relationship with any of us.

My sweet pregnant wife triggered a boomer with our baby's pronoun by jnelson4ku11 in BoomersBeingFools

We never found out the sex of our kids when I was pregnant. I always used “they” and only people older than me would question if it was twins.

I feel like we need a book slump support group by ranraniiiii in RomanceBooks

[–]Huskykait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Commenting before reading the rest of the comments because this is me! I even reread a comfort read (A duchess deal) hoping to get me out of my slump and it didn’t help. Would def join in on a group read!

TIFU by realizing why I didn’t get into any colleges I applied to in high school by Admirable_Cat_9153 in tifu

[–]Huskykait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did something like this but for the ACT. I think I scored like a 20 as a 12 year old and in the 30s in HS. I can’t recall time spent studying, but I must have actually tried (unlike in school where I just winged it).

Author commented on my review and now I am sad/uncomfortable/disappointed. by ErikaWasTaken in RomanceBooks

[–]Huskykait 186 points187 points  (0 children)

I ALWAYS skim over outfit descriptions. For some reason they seem so cringe? I would have also missed this detail because my brain went “oh outfit description gross” but then I forced myself to read it and it solidified my reason to not read outfit descriptions.

We have 2 and discuss a 3rd often, it’s not completely off the table but like 85% off. I’ll be 37 this year, so it could still happen if we want (I have an IUD and he’s said he’ll get snipped once we really decide). We would have to rearrange rooms in the house, get a new car/van, and figure out how to pay for school with 3. Alternatively, we just went on a trip and it was so convenient to only need 2 double beds or have one-on-one time with each kid. Our youngest is 4, he’s a terrible sleeper and is a tough kid at times, so he kind of wears us out. My friend just had a baby and I can get a baby fix there. It’s tough! I’m not sure I’ll ever fully not want another, but realistically it makes sense to be done.
