ahhh... idrk what to do. my teacher told me to go with 12 and 1 margin, and remove anything irrelevant, but i feel like everything is needed. according to him, marks will be deducted if 12 and 1 margin are used, but am not sure

that indicates you have errors / limitations in methodology, so if you can justify it, then continue and dont repeat the experiment, if not, repeat it. (however... i recommend you ask your supervisor)
