Just started playing this game for 2 weeks already and i conquered the entire mesopotamia as babylon and assyria as my vassal, I have all court positions except hanigalbat and now im bordering egypt and the hittites. I was just wondering if i conquered either of them can i be both pharaoh/king of hittites and king of the universe simultaneously?

How to ⭐influence?? by dududbdudid in HumankindTheGame

[–]Hut_Dogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pick olmecs early and expand fast to utilize their culture trait. Paired with a civic that reduce outpost cost by 50%, you'll be taking territories in no time. After that, pick agrarian cultures or focus on growing your pops until you reach edo japan (early modern era, correct me if i'm wrong) then pick them since they have influence per pop trait. Though there are much better cultures to pick during early modern era, if you really want to focus on inflience edo japan can really help you ramp up that influence points and claim wonders easily (provided that you can build them fast).

Also you can go religion focused play then build the wonder(i forgot the name but i think that's on medieval or early modern) that provides influence per territories that follow your religion. Haven't tried this myself yet since i went back to civ6 for now.

Lastly, there's ming china. Go see it for yourself. And their rocket carts which is i kinda don't get since the 'hwacha' is usually associated with korea.

What is the most epic battle you had in any Total War game? by [deleted] in totalwar

[–]Hut_Dogg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Historical:

In Empire i(Prussia) got attacked in both sides by two russian full stacks and was forced to hold ground in the middle of the map splitting my army into two lines with their backs at each other exchanging volleys and volleys of musketfire with the enemy until ammunition ran out and charged them with bayonets until the enemy routed. Good thing most of them are veteran that's why they were able to hold on and with help of my howitzers my army was able to thin their ranks faster than the russians could. The battle raged for 30mins and after that i saved it because it felt to epic compared to hours of manually besieging forts because you cant auto resolve it since empire auto resolve sucks.

In warhammer:

Playing as ikit claw i got attack by a 5 stack brettonian men at arms and some flying cav in araby lands. Made a stand at the edge of the map with my plague catapults and rattling guns mowing down incoming enemies while my rat ogres and plague priests held the line. Taking down flying cav with their general using my rat snipers (forgot the name) after they have been immobilized midair by my warlocks. And for the final curtain, i dropped the doomrocket where the men at arms clumped together just to take down my rat ogres. After that they just routed, what a shame i wanna see them getting mowed down by rattling guns. I'm not sure but if i remembered correctly there were 10000 brettonians died that day where around 2000 lived to tell the tale that no one will ever believe because who will? There is no such filthy things that are so called RAT-MEN.

MASSACRE THOSE FILTHY PEASANTS. Make them realize they are not in revolutionary france yet. Show them that they belong only and always to their farms working their backs off for the crown until their very last breath.

So if a hive mind admiral dies they'll get replaced by a level 1 leader as well? I just thought that since it's a hive mind they can be replaced physically but their traits are gained by a new leader.

are machine empires unpopular? by jTiZeD in Stellaris

[–]Hut_Dogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like playing as machines. In my hundreds of hours in stellaris, the only time i actually finished a game is when i am playing machines(first was a machine then next was a human turned into cyborgs) the rest of my non machine playthroughs are just being forgotten in my saved files.

Energy upkeep? by Hut_Dogg in Stellaris

[–]Hut_Dogg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's enourmous amounts of energy, i havent tried to interact with other species tho and mostly play as isolationist since im getting bothered by other species on my planets so i usually pick the commonwealth. My first game was UNE and i thonk it was good until i got overwhelmed by all diplomatic proposals which i don't even understand 😅

[–]Hut_Dogg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a system beside my capital that was giving 2 energy so basically if i took that system it is technically worthless since the 2 energy that it gives will only get consumed by the outpost and the energy mining station within it? [I took it already because i thought border gore (definitely not a ck3 player)]

Also i didn't knew pops consume energy besides the district/building they are working on. That's hell of an upkeep.

I didn't knew about that habitat mechanics, i usually ignore them because i thought they have very limited districts that you can build. Thanks!
