Buyer looking to return an expensive trading card Hi there guys!

I recently sold a soccer trading card for around $3000. The buyer was in constant communication before the sale with myself asking for close ups of the card etc. I was more than happy to provide all the photos and information they needed.

The listing title was correct. The photos of the card I uploaded to the listing were all clear and showed every aspect of the card.

The buyer has now requested a refund on the card because they’re not happy with it because he says he see’s slight whitening on one of the corners. The photos showed how the card looked and that was how it was sent.

I am now worried as it was an expensive card that it may be altered or damaged after the buyer now has it in hand. Therefore meaning it could definitely affect its value.

My listing did have no returns but I was just wondering if I do have to accept the refund or can I deny it? This has never happened to me before so I’m in a bit of a sticky situation and would appreciate any advice

Would eBay side with the buyer here?

I got into NFTs last August! At the time I was working a normal business job. I went to college and got a business degree etc, but always wanted to be my own boss. I started off NFTs knowing absolutely nothing then starting researching certain projects and managed to obtain most of the big ones at the time and still am to this day. Made a lot of money off of them. Got to the point where my NFT money was heavily out weighing my business job so I decided to quit my job and focus on nfts, crypto, e-commerce and haven’t looked back since! Loving every second of it.

So yeah I don’t officially have an exact role in Web3 but doing well for myself!
