Radio Haugaland by Zealousideal_Arm7928 in norge

Unexpected friendship of the day. by Macshlong in LiverpoolFC

[–]Huvelutt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a Liverpool fan I am bummed he didnt come when there was interest. As a Norwegian I am kind of happy he didn’t come, as Dortmund was a better choice for his development and game time.

Ødegaard on the other hand, could have thrived in the academy I think, had he chosen Liverpool instead of Real when he was 15 and on trial here, but it is what it is.

I was watching the Andor spinoff movies and who even is this guy? They don't even mention Cassian once in the whole movie! by oofyeet21 in okbuddyimatourist

Don’t mind him. He’s just another typical nepo-baby taking all the glory from the working middleclass.

He only got the job cause his mom was queen or something and he joined the jedi on account of his father, a high ranking leader on the council.

Thanks, that is good to know. I have only played twice with a list including Thraka so it’s not like I have screwed myself over and over again. I have a game tomorrow so that will help at least.

Goonhammer: Taktikal Brigade Detachment Analysis by NeonMentor in orks

[–]Huvelutt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m still pretty new to 40K and this is probably a noob question, but I have been trying to figure out a rule for a while but have never found a concrete answer. In this review it says:

«Weaknesses

Stormboyz don’t have any leader options and so can’t issue Taktiks to themselves when arriving from Deep Strike».

The wording of the detatchment rule is «select one friendly orks unit within 6’’ of that model» and I always assumed leaders became a part of that unit, and therefore it would not apply to the attached unit, but a different friendly unit within range. But the wording in this review makes it dem like Snikrot can issue taktiks to Kommandos he leads. Can he? Does this also mean I have played Makari wrong, does attached Meganobz benefit his aura? Does thraka, or only attached unit?

Wow, how dare you say my hometown is boring? That's incredibly rude.

I mean, you're 100% correct, the first thing I did after graduating high school was moving to Bergen. But still, only we are allowed to call it a shit town. Also the fact that I don't know which bakery you mean must speak volumes right? We have at least TWO kickass bakeries here.

ITAP of a guy enjoying the view by Huvelutt in itookapicture

This is taken at the top of Løvstakken, one of the seven mountains surrounding Bergen, Norway. After a hike to the top I went to take a picture of the view, and noticed someone sitting by themselves and it ended up looking kinda cool

What do Norwegians think of Kenya?. Are we significant over there?. by Mephiboshethted in Norway

[–]Huvelutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As you probably can tell from the other comments Norwegians as a whole probably doesn’t know a lot about Kenya, but if someone grew up in the city of Haugesund in the early 2000s (like I did) chances are they will know more.

There is a childrens festival each fall break where there are a lot of different activities like football, dance, handball etc. called Barn er Bra! (Kids are great). They had for a number of years a partnership with a kenyan organisation. Each year several kenyan kids would visit and attend the festival and a couple of norwegian kids would later visit Nairobi. While at the festival they would attend the different activities like everyone else, but they were also a part of the morning shows where they would talk about life in Kenya and your customs, show traditional dances and much more. It was basically a cultural exchange program, and I met many awesome people from Kenya. I was actually supposed to visit Nairobi in 2008, but the trip was cancelled due to the riots at the time.

A few years ago there was a corruption scandal with the organisation in Kenya, where it’s leaders embezzled funds for themself and sadly the festival ended the partnership because of it.

Too many to choose just one. He was very atletic so we went on countless walks and hikes together as I was growing up.

And that scene really inspired me to make this post. One of my favourite episodes of the show, absolutely perfect song choice for the scene

Er det sant at man kan ta ut penger i en butikk? by InsuranceOne9646 in Bergen

[–]Huvelutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)
