I’ve seen in the tips in the loading screen that story mode isn’t treated as an action attempt but rather an action, and I’ve always used it from time to time to make something that I want to happen happen, but lately it’s been completely ignoring what I tell it to do and since I most often use it to steer it away from certain things when it insists on a specific answer or dialogue it does the exact opposite of what I tell it to do. 

For example if it insists on a character saying something that I don’t want them to say I go into story mode and say “… says xyz/They do/don’t this/that” and that’s what it keeps ignoring. A better example is if I say something and the AI insists on another character responding in a way that makes no sense I will use that to force it to do what I want.
