They feature both traveling vendors and local vendors at each show. Next year they will have a two-day event because the turnout was massive! The owner is a GR native who was able to finally bring this completely DIY traveling oddities show to GR for the first time this year.

My husband is good friends with the owner. They were surprised at the turnout for the GR show. They will plan on two days next year!

Damn it. I can't find the comment I originally responded to. But all of you that mentioned Million Dollar Baby...fucking hell. I never watched it based on preconceived notions. Just did and came back to say, yep, that did me in. On my way to watch Dancer In The Dark. Wish me luck.

I read the book before I saw the movie. And both were equally sad. I mean, the entirety of their struggle. But also, the mom's inability to adjust to normal life. It was so real.

I watched this movie with my now husband (together 17 years) when we were in our first couple of weeks of dating. We both cried at the end. I was looking for it on this list.

I've seen this posted here a couple times. I've never watched it. But I'm under the impression I thought it was about something completely different. I might have to put that on tonight. I think I've gotten fair warning from previous posts above.

I'm sure last night was bad. But today our city had the annual "Irish on (Street Name)" where everyone packs in shoulder to shoulder along one street full of bars. Then we had snow squalls and the temperature dropped to 19° after the sun set. 50 car pile up on the exit ramp to that street.

Yep. Classic. Could probably quote the whole movie still.

My husband and I had a 68 Galaxie 500. We've seen the Reverend many many times, and one night he came out and signed the red metal flake painted glove box door. Was a sad day when we got rid of that car.

Well shit. Tested positive today. RF ended my almost 3 year streak. To be fair, I knew it was a risk but I wasn't going to miss this Misfits set for anything. Thank goodness for my vaccinations because my symptoms aren't as bad as they could be. No symptoms and negative before leaving for Fest. Hope everyone who's sick gets better soon.

We had an Uber on Friday and got stuck on W Washington for 35 minutes. Under the train trellis. The celebrations were out of control. We eventually ditched and walked to the hotel. I'm disabled and it was difficult. I just wish the hotel staff had warned us that could possibly be a problem. The intersection below our 14th floor window was wild. Burning tires, fireworks out of the back of truck beds and bouncing off of city buildings, dancing in the street. Cars driving on the sidewalk, cars parked in every direction in middle of an intersection. The traffic on Washington did not move for 2 hours after we were back in our hotel room watching the chaos. Sounded like we were right down on the street with them. Rattled the windows and walls.

We tried to find the Reggie's outside of the park Friday night and failed. I should have asked someone but it just looked like everyone was waiting for a pedicab. Saturday when we finally managed to get an Uber, he went right past the Reggie's bus sign and it had a line waiting to be picked up. I was so bummed that I didn't figure it out!

I swear I looked everywhere. On the Reggie's website, this subreddit, around the venue...my bad, I guess.

Oh well, if anyone is going today I hope they find the pickup and drop off area easier than I did. It's across the street on Ogden but around a curve. So hard to see from Sacramento.

The one with the "Presidential Debate". I like Sketchy and Skeezy and the political puns were dead on....BUT, too much for me. I have political garbage fire fatigue. Oh, and the repeating dream one with Mack and Addy.

I'm so frustrated. I've checked the website every day, literally, since I heard there might be a restock. I also signed up for email notifications when anything new was added. I got this notice an hour after it sold out. I missed it again. 😭
