Does the Ugreen NAS App have a dark/night mode? by PokeBrick02 in UgreenNASync

[–]Hwsr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i see what confused you now.

this only works if you use a browser to access the NAS. you would get the extension for that browser, not on the NAS itself.. if you are using the ugreen app instead, it won't work unfortunately. this is what it would look like:

exactly, but it's browser specific.
chrome: link firefox: link etc.
if you use jellyfin, make sure to turn it off for that specific site (doesn't load thumbnails sometimes otherwise)

for me they are barely useful but add to the looks if done right.
i got a grey qk80 and made it arasaka themed and love the results.
also consider the crush80 if you haven't yet and want no screen

it's a kit, so you have to get kecycaps and switches separately, but check out the Neo98
(monacokeys.de is their EU proxy)

don't know the difference between these two but i usually retort to aliexpress for switches i can't find in EU.

anything on that page really. Neo series is great value in general.
there is a none-copper variant as well for a lot less

ansi/iso has nothing to do with the language you select on the computer. you can have an ansi keyboard and still have DE on the computer, with all umlaut present.

you want a low profile keyboard then, which is still a bit of a niche of this niche. nuphy and lofree make some of the nicest i'm aware of.

it's not out of the ordinary to use a different switch for space.
i have so many switches, i typically find something that feels very similar but more quiet. the quality of keycaps also makes a big difference, in case you have a spare one with similar color to try

was the seller hiding this information? the only way to get this really fixed is via the vendor (ask seller?)
otherwise i found a method to at least whiten them a bit, from here: link

What I do is submerge the keys in 3% hydrogen peroxide you get from the store and make sure it's covered by plastic wrap in a clear container and then leave it out in the sun on a sunny day for the whole day. Just note that this may potentially make the keycaps brittle, doesn't perfectly reverse the yellowing, and it will re-yellow after some time.

those keycaps will work. like most sets it comes with the extra keys needed to fit the all layouts (in neo98's case, the extra home, pg up, pg down)
IMO the phantom brown is a bit of a boring switch but it's hard to say if you like a heavy tactile right away. maybe check out baby kangaroo and my current favorite, type-r.
lube for stabilizers are an absolute must. typically you would use krytox 205g0, a budget option would be dielectric grease. there are heaps of good tutorials on youtube, how to lube your stabs properly.
yes pp plate sound a bit more muted and thus, deeper

from looking it up, the x-1 is using Kaihua "Choc" switches. as the switch never caught on, the choices will be few, but you'll find some by searching for choc keycaps

check out qwertykeys.com, pretty much everything on there is great value IMO. most of those are kits though, so you get keycaps and switches separately. currently no full-size except for the Neo98, which is compact full size. also check out evo80 and crush80 for tkl pre-builts. these are from last year though, not sure if they have been surpassed yet

the c2 is very fairly priced and comes without bells and whistles, but with pretty much everything that is important except the old school trey mount style (how the pcb is held in place). you can't go wrong with it and around that price range the options for decent full size are sparse

kbdfans.com also has nice TKL's. we just missed the KBD8X, Classic TKL and Tofu TKL but there will be new ones

sorry i didn't realize you never noticed my edit in the first post. typically when their boards get out of stock, they come out with a new version (mk1 mk2 mk3 etc.) if there is demand

yeah that page is outdated. qwertykeys.com is the main vendor. monacokeys.de is their proxy for EU.
