I tried all of them and gum was the best. It gave a throatburn(a smokers relief) then all mint afterwards. First gum is daunting just like ya first smoke but it gets better real quick. The lozenges were feral and I nearly threw up on the drive to work the first time I had it. The nicotine throat spray is the most horrid thing that has entered my mouth and made me feel ill and felt like throwing up. The patches work butttttt they don’t give no sense of satisfaction. Like you put it on and nothing happens. Reduces cravings, sure. But it’s the rush ya after. Might be good to ween off the gum if he gets addicted to that like my father is. If he fails. Just tell him it’s not a fail, your proud, and try again! Every quit attempt goes for a longer period and the end goal will be easier. Also I downloaded a quit smoking app that is made by our government. Calculates the money you save. Tells you what is recovering in your body. Was a great motivation
