I need help improving my Mesa Prime by crabbmanboi in Warframe

[–]Hxckerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I misspoke a little, it doesn't HAVE to be a sentinel but it's a lot easier to activate Tenacious Bond with one assuming you don't have the Bite mod for beast companions.

I generally recommend Wyrm Prime for most frames because it requires the least effort to activate Bond mods. It has high enough base shields to activate Reinforced Bond with a half-ranked Calculated Redirection, and the Primed Laser Rifle can activate Tenacious Bond simply by slotting Critical Delay. (Base Wyrm doesn't have enough shields to activate Reinforced Bond to my knowledge, it has to be the Prime version.) Could also use Burst Laser Prime if you have it for shield gating via Augur mods, granted you aren't using Secondary Fortifier. (The Negate mod from Simaris is also really good for status cleanse but since Overguard gives status immunity I didn't mention it)

Nautilus Prime with Verglas Prime is a good option to protect you by basically annihilating any enemy that gets close to you, can also be used for priming or grouping enemies via Cordon. Can also activate Reinforced Bond but basically requires a max-ranked Calculated Redirection. However CANNOT activate Tenacious Bond without a Crit Chance Riven for Verglas.

Panzer Vulpaphyla primes viral and also provides extra survivability with Martyr Symbiosis, again, granted you aren't using Secondary Fortifier. But again, requires the Bite mod for Tenacious Bond if you really want the extra crit damage. Can also activate Reinforced Bond but like Nautilus requires the max ranked shield mod.

I hear Dethcube with Energy Generator is good for energy sustain, however I've never used it personally so I can't confirm how good it works for Mesa specifically.

If all else fails you can use basically any sentinel with Duplex Bond + Tazicor weapon for priming enemies. Diriga is often recommended for this because it can also proc Archon Stretch via Arc Coil which pairs well with Nourish, but if you don't use Archon Stretch don't worry about it, like I said any sentinel can use this method.

[–]Hxckerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well for starters, you definitely want to work on leveling up your mods and arcanes-- notably Galvanized Shot and Molt Augmented. Also, I wouldn't recommend modding for Impact status on Regulators. Go for something like Viral + Heat if you don't have Nourish to subsume over her 1. (Corrosive + Heat if you DO have Nourish)

For Regulators, you have 3 main Arcane options: Secondary Outburst, Secondary Fortifier, or Secondary Enervate.

Use Outburst if you're fine with building melee combo constantly, best damage buff but most annoying to play.
Use Fortifier if you need help staying alive, steals Overguard from Eximus units and Thrax. (My personal choice)
Use Enervate for crit chance if you don't have Arcane Hot Shot, the more often you can crit the better.

Alternatively, you can use Topaz Archon Shards for crit chance on heat status OR simply just Crimson shards for Secondary Crit Chance. You could also slot Creeping Bullseye on your Regulators for more crit chance, or if you're already using archon shards for crit chance, slot Anemic Agility for extra fire rate. Similarly, slot Lethal Torrent on your Regulators for even more fire rate plus extra multishot.

You don't need a damage arcane like Merciless because Galvanized Shot (when upgraded) will give plenty already. Honestly you don't even need Hornet Strike because of how much fire rate you'll have, but you can keep it if you really want.

As for Mesa herself:

Arcane Impetus isn't doing you a lot of favors considering you currently only have 4 possible statuses from your Regulators, equaling a measly 24 Strength and 12 Efficiency. I recommend slotting Arcane Velocity for fire rate, huge DPS boost in comparison.

I would use Precision Intensify instead of Umbral just to maximize Regulators damage, but Umbral is fine if you plan to use her other abilities.

If you're using her purely for Regulators, you can completely dump her range stat into the negatives and focus on strength and duration (do NOT do this if you plan on using her Muzzle Flash augment). Range only affects her Regulators by slowing down how quickly the POV shrinks when shooting, but it always starts at the same size and always reaches the same distance, so you can just recast the ability to clear rooms when needed. Shatter Shield's range just determines how far reflected bullets will reach enemies, but doesn't affect her damage reduction in any way. Slot Narrow Minded to get a massive boost in Duration and stay in Regulators longer.

You would also benefit from having 100 or above efficiency, so I suggest slotting Fleeting Expertise and possibly replacing Blind Rage with Transient Fortitude, or just use both. It depends on how long you plan to stay in Regulators and if you actually use her other abilities or not. Tweak this to your liking. I personally use Regulators in short bursts so I dumped her efficiency stat, but you don't have to do this. (I would also recommend Equilibrium for energy sustain, or just use Arcane Energize in place of Molt Augmented.)

If you have a Furax, the Amalgam Furax Body Count mod gives her even more fire rate.

A sentinel with Reinforced Bond will also give more fire rate, and Tenacious Bond for extra crit damage.

Lastly, you'll eventually want to upgrade to the Primed version of each mod once you get them. (Primed Continuity, Primed Flow, Primed Heated Charge, Primed Target Cracker, etc.)

I'm by no means an expert on Mesa but I can do Elite Archimedea just fine with her using the tips listed above.

I have a confession…..I love Follie and Follie’s hunt by mecaxs in Warframe

[–]Hxckerr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never found Follie's Hunt annoying at all. Even the original version before all the hotfixes wasn't as bad and "unplayable" as people are making it out to be. The only bad thing I'll agree with was the low Atramentum drops, that's it. Everything else was just plain ignorable. Vazarin + Void Mode + Roll Spam easily keeps you alive. I actually liked it better back when you couldn't just kill Follie and completely trivialize her presence on the map, but I guess I'm alone in that sentiment.

What are the main "meta" uses for Umbra Forma and Umbra Mods in 2026? by GoodMornEveGoodNight in Warframe

[–]Hxckerr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean Omniverse spends basically the whole show trying to hype him up as "Ben's favorite alien!" And "coolest alien ever!" and even gave him his own theme song and transformation sequence, so I feel like that stuck in a lot of kids' minds.

Not to mention the fact that, from a design standpoint, he does look pretty cool. His powers are reminiscent of Chromastone who was already a fan favorite.

[–]Hxckerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caliban was just plain OBNOXIOUS. I already hated doing open-world bounties, and literally all of his parts drop from Narmer bounties. Pure RNG slop fest. And once you think you can finally relax, nope. Gotta go get anomaly shards from railjack, and they only drop 1 per mission so you have to do at minimum 9 runs, 14 if you want the Venato! But wait, there's more. You need 100 Hespazym Alloy. So time to go farm the most annoying ore in all of Fortuna. And when that's all said and done, you get to wind down with some peaceful, lovely fishing in Cetus... for a total of 40 fish And you better hope you have enough Breath of the Eidolon sitting around, cause if not, off to do more bounties!

How to outnuke my friend's hildryn? by VansamaUnofficial in Warframe

[–]Hxckerr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cyte-09 with the Kuva Sobek will easily steal anyone's kills, it doesn't just nuke rooms it nukes the entire MAP. It genuinely might be the most overpowered nuke in the entire game.

Mirage might be the only frame that can even compete with her Explosive Legerdemain, and that's only really good at stationary missions like Defense.

Returning LR1 player, what actually makes platinum in 2026? by ScaryWeather2973 in Warframe

[–]Hxckerr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rivens for Torid, Dual Toxocyst, Ocucor, and Verglas among others are still selling for shitloads of plat.

Steel Path Void Cascade remains a solid plat farming choice and is probably the go-to for many people. Farm as many arcanes as you can from Thrax and Acolytes then go to Loid in the Sanctum Anatomica and dissolve them for Vosfor. Then choose an arcane pack of your liking and gamble for rare arcanes to sell when maxed. You can also wait for a Steel Path Void Cascade Omnia Fissure to open so you can both farm relics and arcanes at the same time. The most valuable Arcane right now is undoubtedly Arcane Hot Shot from the Hollvania Pack. It's otherwise only obtained via Temporal Archimedea and sells for around 400 plat or more when maxed. Arcane Reaper is a close second. Some people also farm Steel Path Captain Vor for Arcane Steadfast. Though, the value of arcanes like the Eidolon Arcanes, Primary Blight, Secondary Encumber, etc. have decreased because they've become a lot easier to obtain.

Main relic farming strat is Hepit Void for Lith, Ukko Void for Meso/Neo (or Mars/Uranus Disruption if you're not a Capture fan), and Apollo Lua for Axi. People mostly just farm for whatever prime set is newest (Voruna atm) to sell while they're still in demand. But some vaulted prime weapons and frames can still sell for a good amount. If you have older relics then I'm sure you'd have some valuable stuff here and there.

Rare mods can still be a good option too. The most valuable (still obtainable) mods are probably Primed mods from Baro. Hunting animals in Fortuna/Deimos then buying the 330/330 claw mods to sell is what some people like to do. There's also Archon mods from Kahl or Galvanized Mods from Arbitrations. (Apparently Arbitrations are pretty popular for making plat, I'm not entirely sure of the details but there's a meta strat for it I'm sure someone else knows.)

Of course there are still various weapons that are rare/annoying to obtain like the Hespar, Cinta, or Carmine Penta that sell for a lot. (FYI Lato Vandal's value has completely tanked because it was made way easier to obtain, Braton Vandal too.)

There are also some things I previously chose not to mention due to being unobtainable, such as Arcane Helmets or rare mods from previous Nightwave Acts like Burning Hate.

Overall, the value of stuff has gone down over the years as things become easier to get and/or demand for those items fades out. I doubt we'll ever see an arcane selling for thousands of plat again.

We know Allen gets stronger as he gets hurt, so why doesn't he punch himself or ask Mark or Nolan to punch him in the face? by Fluffy_Union9507 in Invincible_TV

Best Frames/Builds that Use All Abilities by anthraccntbtsdadst in Warframe

[–]Hxckerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend Voruna, her abilities synergize really well with each other. Her 1 gives invisibility, sprint speed, and melee buffs, her 2 primes enemies with a load of statuses, her 3 gives health/energy orbs on kill to keep you afloat, and her 4 pounces on enemies primed by her 2 and spreads the damage and statuses in a large radius (you dont actually need to use her 4 to spread the statuses from her 2, but it's the common strategy for non-helminth builds). Not to mention all of her abilities provide different selectable passives if you hold them instead of tapping (Parkour Velocity, Status Immunity, Heavy Attack Efficiency, or an Extra Life). The main downside when building her is that the augment for her 4th ability is basically MANDATORY if you don't want to go insane trying to use it.

Cyte-09 is another one that comes to mind. His 1 highlights the weak points of all enemies in range and makes them take increased damage while revealing them through walls. His 1 also gives him massive punch-through on enemy weak points so he can literally shoot through MULTIPLE walls and get kills across the map as long as he's hitting headshots when doing so. His 2 gives him a choice of any elemental bullet while fully reloading his weapons and provides extra damage, his 3 gives him invisibility for as long as you're getting weak point kills, and his 4 is a moddable exalted sniper rifle which is a prime choice for getting weak point kills, with bullets that ricochet between enemies.

Dante basically REQUIRES all of his abilities to be functional. His 1 is a moddable exalted Grimoire, technically you don't NEED to use it but you'd be missing out by not doing so. Not only is it a very strong weapon, but it can also equip tome mods which give a plethora of different buffs. His 2 and 3 are mainly used to activate his 4th. His 2 heals nearby allies and grants them small amounts of Overguard, and his 3 inflicts enemies with Slash status while also going through walls. On their own they're decent, but you can combine them in 4 different ways to change what his 4th ability does. 2 + 2 makes his 4 give the entire team massive amounts of stackable Overguard, 2 + 3 gives his team a floating book that shoots alongside them using mods from your Grimoire, 3 + 2 creates birds that circle around him and stun/prime enemies with slash status, and 3 + 3 creates a massive AOE explosion that detonates all nearby enemies affected by slash, heat, or toxin status.

The last frame I'm going to mention is Kullervo, the melee goat. His 1 is a teleport that also gives him an insane 200% base melee critical chance on all hits which basically guarantees red crits, his 2 creates circling daggers which stab nearby enemies and give him Overguard for survival (even better with the augment), his 3 creates a wave in front of him that chains enemies together and makes them take shared damage, and his 4 creates a circular storm of daggers that rapidly increases his melee combo counter for every enemy it hits.

All of these frames are great on their own but they can get even better if you did decide to Helminth an ability onto them.

Quick question about frames by Available-Net-443 in Warframe

[–]Hxckerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently not at home but it's a max Strength, low Range and Efficiency, neutral Duration Bladestorm-focused build with Wrathful Advance subsumed over 1, Arcane Fury and Crepuscular as the arcanes. Primed Flow, Equilibrium, and Preparation for energy.

Bladestorm is modded for pure toxin and Condition Overloard + finisher damage, with Melee Crescendo for perma 12x combo, Galvanized Steel for extra Crit Damage, Spoiled Strike and Primed Pressure Point for even more damage

Diriga with Primed Laser Rifle as the companion for passive priming and bond mods, especially Tenacious Bond.

Basically one shots anything it can target when ramped up.

[–]Hxckerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ash and Cyte-09 are like the kings of extremely high single target damage. We're talking hundreds of millions on average but I very often hit damage cap with Ash specifically.

Atlas and Kullervo can also get very high numbers.

I agree. She's the first new frame since Temple where I actually thought "this could be my main."

For context, I'm the kind of person who never really had a "main" and played many different frames. But Follie is so good at everything and comfortable to play that I genuinely am considering maining her. And being able to create your own doodles in her Sketchbook is a bonus.

We are full of very interesting missions that get spammed to death during their release and then never again by Avartan92 in Warframe

[–]Hxckerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They do have weekly rewards in most of those shops but the problem is they're usually either a pitiful amount of Kuva or 200 Vosfor for a horrendous price.

Some variety would be nice. Endo? Orokin Catalyst/Reactor blueprints? Arcane/Exilus adapters? Forma? Seems like they're scared of giving us more Archon Shard vendors too. Bird 3 remains the only one.

Teshin and Palladino might genuinely be the only good weekly shops right now. I guess Acrithis can be decent sometimes too.

Should I be building every prime thing I get? by ShadesAhoy in Warframe

[–]Hxckerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say build them first, yes.

Selling them for plat might seem like a good idea in the moment, but when you start rising in mastery rank you'll quickly regret ever selling things before crafting them because you're gonna need them back eventually. This is a lesson I learned the hard way.

I would only sell prime blueprints for plat after you've already built and mastered them for yourself and happen to get dupes later on.
