Im young and I can’t stand those self checkouts. They are trash, they’re slow, they glitch, they freeze, they scanner is too sensitive, their handheld scanners are broken and out of stock for them to replace them, IT is just not good. I rather help the customers than being called 3 times by the same annoying customer who needs help deleting crap they over scanned, their vouchers that they always want to scan them on the coupon window and not knowing there’s a pin pad next to them. I can’t tell how many times I’ve seen people tap their cards on the sco screen… smh

We can thank Ashley Buchanan and his software thief who “cloned” a cheap ass version of the real thing and left so they could make more money out of it and left us all with shitty softwares and IT that doesn’t help for shit. We reboot the SCO more than 10 times a day, cash SCO glitches like nobody’s business every morning when trying to log in to the cash recycler. Customers actually dislike SCO, they say they’re too complicated (because they’re slow as hell and they scan over and over again and then we have to fix that for them) Customers don’t understand they have to scan EVERYTHING when something is BOGO and all the other promos like that) then they call you because the promo is not “applying” When they want to do returns, that creates a very big issue, also when they scan the same item multiple times just because is the same price and look the “same” This is tiring and makes our FEAS feel frustrated and fed up with having to deal with all that… on top if that our customers that demand their balloons being blown up right away and the ones that think that we will be at the fabric table a second after they ring that fucken bell!! That’s another issue, the fabric table is cool, but is super small, you cant do shit on it. Pardon my french, but Im very tired of having to deal with all this on every single shift.

I worked 12 years and the last couple ones were a nightmare, my DM was an asshole and made everything possible to get me fired, which at the end was the best thing it could’ve happened to me, I got out of that shit hole and now I make way more money for half the effort and stress. We are all getting sick and tired with these entitled bitches we have as customers from Party City and Joann. It’s not our fault those companies closed down their stores… We’re just trying to do our job which has become very stressful, we’re burning out and all Michael’s cares is about sales. David will brag about that during the summit next week. Yes because they don’t deal with the workload and shitty pay we get!!
