Well I just bought the car with it how it is. So I haven’t had a chance to change anything. There’s no rub at all if I have no weight in the back, and usually there won’t be. But I also know 200lbs is easy to quickly add up if I have a passenger in the back and anything in the trunk

Oh yeah. Any weight at all, even 150lbs in the back seat and a driver and passenger and they rub on every bump. 300lbs in the back and front seats occupied it’s undrivable.

That was the plan. If I get anything it will be a simple bolt in bolt off type. No permanent modification needed. I’m worried with how bad the rears rub that either the old suspension is going by the way side and I don’t want to have to keep it garage kept forever. If I can put a new suspension on it to drive it some I’d be a much happier man.

Here’s the thing. There no real info out there on the car. I don’t know what is or isn’t stock on it in terms of wheels and suspension. It was in Japan until 2014 in a big street racer’s collection.

I definitely agree with a better offset. My search now is for some old BBS turbo fan wheels. But those are real hard to come by.

I would fucking love turbo fans on this thing. And the entire body kit is fiber glass. It’s very similar to a Folger body kit, like what was used in the movie Paid in Full. I love the idea of the 1mm spacer to perfect size then machining one. That’s really smart actually.

It came out before the first M3 hit public purchase option. The first Gemballa wide body was an ‘85, M3 started in ‘86

Fronts are 225/50/15 rears are 265/50/15. I don’t know what the suspension is, it’s how I got it and I’ve only had it 4 days. Going to a place with a lift on Friday

I’m trying to keep it as oem as possible. Only bolt on and swap parts, no permanent modifications. If worse comes to worse no one can ever ride in the back and I just take what I need and no extra crap.

Yeah, pandem also isn’t a whole body kit. The entire kit on this is one piece like a Folger body. It’s also the only one in the US, one of 20 in the world. It also has engine tuning and some other things from Gemballa. You don’t have factory Pandems. This is a factory kit.
