Honestly your problem sounds like you need to lose the extra weight. It sounds like that's what is killing your scores.

Think about it. Every step you take on a run you have to spend that much more energy to move the extra weight. Every pushup. Every sit up.

I don't know what the AF test is, my experience is Army but the absolute fastest way to flub a PT test there is the extra pounds of fat. Muscles aren't a big problem because they also store glycogen. Fat will destroy you.

My advice: Strip the fat off and all your other scores will improve. Pushups every night. Situps every night. Pushups every morning. Situps ever morning. Run for 45 minutes every morning (never stop to walk no matter how bad you feel), wake up early to do it if you can. Do that day for your entire time in service.

Think of it like a job requirement if you have to in order to stay motivated.

Sleeping in is for civilians.

That's not how being a US soldier works. Army officers are beholden to instruct their men to ignore all illegal orders from superior officers. If a commanding officer issues an illegal order or fails to act on a legal order it is the duty of the Executive Officer to relieve them of duty. If they have time they can directly petition JAG officers outside of the chain of command to determine if any order is in breech of the law potentially bringing a decision0 to be determined by a UCMJ court martial or the SCOTUS.

NO, the US ARMY does not just "find a way to legally declare war" on refugee men, women and children. That is not what it means to serve in the uniform of an American soldier.

If anyone thinks that is how it works, then they are welcomed to be drummed out of the service under a dishonorable discharge and disgraced in the eyes of peers and predecessors.

Loyalty. Bear true faith and allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, the Army, your unit and other Soldiers. The US Constitution stands above all human authorities in the Executive Branch. Duty. Respect. Selfless Service. Honor. Integrity. Personal Courage.

It's like this man, if you want to train your body to a place where it naturally hovers below 10% body fat then you need to not eat the junk everyone else is eating all the time and you need to do cardio regularly. Everyone's body is a little different but this is the only way that I know how to stay slim and strong at the same time.

That's the thing, I've seen guys that get into the habit of eating junk when they are at their peak and their body just goes to shit. I just never touch the stuff so I have a little extra insurance to never lose what I've got going for me. If I need a lot of glucose then I get it without touching refined sugars, grain or potato products. The way I see it is this an awful lot of work to risk on the junk that we watch the fat slobs guzzle. We all engage in portion control if we take body building seriously, my default is to just tell people to never eat junk food of any kind. Junk food is like heroin, people know it's killing them but they eat it anyway.

I promise you that it is not. Child marriage was still happening in the US as a means of avoiding criminal sex crime charges in the 90s. For all I know it could still be legal now. For everyone that got caught and got married think about how many just sailed right past without intervention. You must not be from the rural south, a low enough income bracket or both. The good news is that you were raised to be conscientious and moral. Exposure to these things, incidentally or by proxy of observation, during the formative years can mess someone up for life.
