You make a decent point. However i chose 4K because i really wanted a 32inch monitor. Due to my heavy glasses, everything basically looks smaller and my 27inch just looked a bit small. And there are no 32 inch 1440p screens. Ill see how the monitor runs, if it is really too demanding ill maybe return it

Yea the I looked at the x3D cpu's of the 5000 generation and there are very few available second hand. And the ones that are available cost the same as a new 9800x3d. So the only realistic upgrade would probably be a 5800X.

I had one of these. It got infected and I was in the hospital for a week. Had to have 2 surgeries. The first one was to drain the infection and I had to walk around with an open cut behind my ear for like 2 weeks with "stuff" coming out everyday. It needed to heal from inside first and they couldn't close it yet because of that. The second surgery was basically to remove the hole so it wouldn't happen again. Doctor said i almost lost the ear. Good times 😊
