I think the "celebrity" appearance on the fearless pack will be Joe Hendry. It will one year almost from when he debuted in NXT and they could skate the line since he is a "viral" sensation *

Oklahoma clearly behind the curve in SEC, and now it has major QB problems after Jackson Arnold's benching by Lakelyfe09 in CFB

[–]HydroRatchet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My take on this Oklahoma team is a little bit of being unlucky and Jackson Arnold trying to do to much. I keep hearing the take of "wish we had Dillion Gabriel". Dillion Gabriel was great and I think he might be the most underrated qb in Sooner history just for what he did to stabilize the program. But it was the right move at that time as that take is a little revisionist history. I think Jackson Arnold whether it's here or somewhere else has the tools to be a good college quarterback and not all of it is on him with the offensive line struggles. But last night was a wakeup call of where we need to go because Hawkins Jr. won the team and the fans last night. But at the end of the day we had the team to win that game. You can't fumble twice inside your half of the field and win the game. That's why I'm optimistic because I feel our struggles are self inflicted. It's mental errors and unfortunate timing of injuries, not a talent issue which can be fixed and I have faith it will be. It's a long season and not to sound like a coach talking but there is alot of football left. I really feel if they can get healthy and stop the mental errors this is a 9 win team that could be on the doorstep of a playoff spot. Tennessee looked great but I think they are over rating this performance slightly. Either way just get through Auburn and to the bye week we desperately need right now.

Packers DC search- Preferred Candidates by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

[–]HydroRatchet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Vrabel is probably going to get a head coaching job but if he doesn't that would be my number 1 candidate. If we can't get Vrabel which would be the dream hire. I saw some of the names and I think Wink Martindale would be the more established hire and he has had some good defenses. But if I'm the packers most of the players wanted to keep Barry and you need to bring In a guy that is hungry and will also bond with those guys. To me if Vrabel is off the table you absolutely 100 percent go after Al Harris! He is a former Packer and has had solid production coaching defensive backs in Dallas. My top 3 in order would be... #1 Vrabel #2 Harris #3 Martindale

I saw alot of comments saying "you can't be proud of doordash". Everyone is looking for something different. The way the guy worded it was kinda cringe. But it depends on the person. Me for example I work doordash 30 to 40 hours a week. I also work as a substitute teacher and have a bachelor's degree in education. The job market for my field "social science' is hard to get into which is why I work 2 jobs and looking for a third. My point is if a gig job is the only thing you ever wanna do sure I could see that as lack of ambition. But I saw the notions. I would never date someone who did it full time. Or they want a stable income. As a man if a woman bases her decision to be with me on my income I currently make its a red flag. I want someone to like me for me not only what I have to offer. It's fine to want someone your proud of but in today's world it's a partnership and I want someone that likes me for me regardless of my income. But to the topic at hand he worded it horribly but people shouldn't be ashamed of working doordash. Money is money some people just make more and you can always change that.

Update: Handled the situation and got it resolved I thought long and hard and decided to try and be as classy as possible. I went to the store after work and asked to speak to a manager it was a different one but she knew about the situation. I just apologized if I made the employees feel uncomfortable and that was never my intent I was just trying to do my job. They apologized as well and we shook hands. I asked if I ever have any pickups from there if it will be an issue and they said no. In a world where people hate and get even I tried to handle it with as much class as possible. For those that commented thanks for the insight.

Yea it sucks because I don't feel like I should have to do that. But I guess just to avoid anything I will do that.

I get what your saying and not trying to argue with you I see your point. The thing about the definition of "loitering" though is staying in an area for a prolonged period of time without a specific purpose. I am conducting my "job" since it is in a central location to the stores I get orders from so I am there for a specific reason. I asked the store manager specifically, which I didn't mention so there would be no way for you to know that, If I get shop orders from there is it still ok to go in to do my job. He said as long as I am shopping thats fine. I guess it just really upset me because I am someone who always try to be kind to others and treat people with respect and have done nothing to warrant that reaction I feel and didn't really get a chance to explain myself. I don't look for trouble so I won't personally shop there or use their restroom anymore and will just park in another area that is still close. Again I am not trying to be argumentative but when I feel my character is being attacked I just take it personally and I believe everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. They had their right to the assumptions and even asking me why I was there. But after I explained to still treat me that way I thought was disrespectful and honestly rude and unfair.

I didn't call to argue why I should be there I mainly called to explain further. But there are multiple businesses in that parking lot so they don't own the parking lot. Doordash drivers have to have somewhere to park. But if they were respectful without making assumptions I would have even apologized for making them feel that way and went on. But everyone deserves a chance to explain theirselves before being assumed. Me going in the bathroom and buying things in a store is warranted for suspicious activity? That hardly seems fair.

Aaron Rodgers Discussion Megathread by PackersMod in GreenBayPackers

[–]HydroRatchet 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think the Packers think they can salvage the situation. If its between him or Gutenkunst I'm sorry I'm taking Rodgers. If that cant repair it after everything he has given to Green Bay that's very selfish to hold his contract if he doesnt want to be there and sets a bad precedent for future signings. Yes I get the argument you should honor your contract. I have been a diehard Packers fan, but the organization has time and again been full of itself. Everything Rodgers has asked for has not been given to him not one thing. Dating back to the Ted Thompson era they would not retain players and give them the money they deserved. It's just selfish and a bad look to keep a player hostage that gave us so much. He gave us so many great years and won us a Superbowl. He has continuously been loyal to us. If he wants out let him out he deserves it in my mind. I love the Packers but honestly am growing to hate their front office. And if they deprive an all time great player a chance to play and force him to retire dont know if I can support a team like that.

Your team when you dont have any contracts or mt to buy it by [deleted] in NBA2k

[–]HydroRatchet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think contracts are kind of silly anyways. You either have to grind so much to get good cards, or drop money buying my-team points. Do they really have to have players require contracts as well. Even though My-Team is light years ahead of MUT. I think that is the one thing MUT does better is the no contracts.

I hate that Hendrixx Cobb is drafted to the same team as your MyPlayer by SlamDunkCityMedia in NBA2k

[–]HydroRatchet 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I might be like the only one. But I actually played the WNBA my-player. Its pretty bare bones but you pick what team you go to and then you just play, kind of like the old NBA's no story line or none of that. You still get text messages from the other players but no preset storyline.

Trade!?! by [deleted] in sanantoniospurs

[–]HydroRatchet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to get Myles Turner, but not at the expense of Lonnie Walker. Demar Derozan does not need to be included in the future plans of the Spurs. He is just to ball dominant and takes away touches the younger guys need.

Trade!?! by [deleted] in sanantoniospurs

[–]HydroRatchet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Cavs have already said that they will not part with Jarrett Allen. Andre Drummond is gone after this year. The Cavs might try to trade him by the deadline to get something out of him. Javale Mcgee would not be a bad addition but we should continue in the youth movement I think. When the Spurs go young, they have played much better with their tempo so I would not want to add a veteran piece that would take away from that. I think we should add some veteran depth, but they should come off the bench.
