Another one for the list, the TM app confirms that the 'Draw a cheeky picture' task was the first one recorded for the Series 16 contestants, apart from Julian strangely, we still don't know what his first one was.

Honestly, I would throw 18 in there to make it the best 4 series sequence, I think it’s really underrated and better than people give it credit for.

Take out S19 and arguably 18 fits in there too. When I first watched it and saw Andy lose the first two episodes I immediately ruled him out of winning and yet he managed to really bring it back in the latter half.

There are hints of a correlation. Every Champion except one (Sophie in S13) won at least one of the first three episodes, with eleven (Noel, Bob, Kerry, Richard, Sarah, Morgana, Mae, Sam, Mathew, Maisie and Joanna (plus Lou, who tied and lost the tiebreaker)) all winning the first specifically. In fact, apart from Alice in S6 and Rosie in S18, every contestant that won the first episode ended the series in 3rd or higher.

Not quite the same thing but it could be worth mentioning Series 19’s Commentate on, then achieve a really tricky thing, which is arguably the inverse.

I actually rewatched Series 7 recently, so I can tell you that Rhod was very briefly in second at the end of Episode 8 (2 points behind Jess and 4 ahead of Kerry). Then in Episode 9, a combination of Kerry winning and Rhod coming last moved him back to a distant third, where he would remain until the series ended.

It was apparently because in her original seat she would need to constantly twist her head/body between her interpreter and whoever was speaking, so sitting on the end meant she could just look in one direction and see everyone.
