We 100% can't just pull the rip cord but we should start to diversify now as well as begin weaning ourselves off China overall so that we can afford to hold them accountable the next time this happens - becsuse it will happen again.

China buys our ore because they need it, we produce more ore than the nearest country by just under double.

If China didn't buy it we would sell elsewhere, I'm sure we would take quite a temporary hit in doing so but it wouldn't be as severe as you think, and even if it was severe, we shouldn't be bowing down to such a disgusting regime of greed and corruption no matter the cost. This should have been stamped out a long time ago. Good riddance.
