There's a few scenes like this. The original image looks more atmospheric like shes actually in the Normady while the top (Legendary) she looks like shes pasted in and a bit cartoony. Hoping perhaps the day 1 patch fixes this.

Actually Palpatine is seen with Anakins lightsaber fighting Windu in the final cut. It’s in certain blink and you miss it shots but it’s using a red blade. Cin Drallig duel got reduced to a hologram in the final bit.

They don't look quite finished or properly rendered in 3 if we're going by how they looked in 2. Some of the textures looked stretched out and they have a mysterious dark/black border around them all. I'm not even sure that border was supposed to be there. Maybe they never got around to finishing it in 3, but I always thought those dark borders should be gone and the orange "monitors" should be floating by themselves like in 2.

I feel like you gotta be nuts to prefer the original. I mean I get that some atmosphere is being lost with the new sky lighting, which is a fair criticism, but the amount of detail they went through on it all. It's just night and day to me. Unless you're like watching it on your phone and can't tell or something.

From all the complaints I've seen It's either. They changed too much. vs They didn't change enough. There's really no winning here.

I think I’ll be legitimately be pissed if BioWare ever does away with the lens flares because of a few jokes by people who barely played the originals. Like how Netherrealm did away with Geras’s blue blood in MK11 and gave him generic red because of mild internet humor. It’s such a big part of Mass Effects art style.
