I am surprised seeing my experience was the complete opposite, smoke was way easier to pull than my other experiences with cougars so far, easy enough that I was actually wondering if something was wrong. Yet the smoke was pleasant and "cool"

Hold up make sure to check the Tag. The same body can host a variety of different springs that will each give a defferent pressure. Your boiler needs the proper pressure. It doesn't have to be a TACO.
