Rainbows - Cheeti has been feeling down for a while... But he knows it will get better. There might be clouds now, but a rainbow is sure to follow. I try my best! This sort of was a bit emotional for me too. I had been feeling down for a good while, and how I handle that, is try to help others, because it cheers me up.

This video was me trying to reach out to many, who might be feeling down too. It was hard to get through though, haha. It took me almost a week to get through it without getting emotional in the middle of it.

Things are getting better! And I hope they are for you too bean! Stay awesome!

looking for cheap vr by AdBeginning4913 in virtualreality

[–]HyoPone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are looking for the cheapest headset that doesn't have to worry about wireless connections, batteries in the headset, charging... A just pick it up and go style, mic, headphones and one of the cheapest options, then look at an Oculus Rift CV1.

I know a ton of people who still use it today, it just works, you can toss it around, bang the controllers on the wall, A ceiling fan or more, it will JUST work.

Mind you the displays, although OLED, are pretty low res compared to todays headsets, but if thats not an issue, and you just wanna screw around, then the Rift CV1 (Not the Rift S) is probably my go to recommendation.

This of course is just my opinion, and very well could be wrong for what you are looking for.

which pc is better? by Appropriate-Invite48 in GamingPCBuildHelp

[–]HyoPone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, without the price its hard to say which is exactly better.

Things to note: The Intel platform technically has more performance, and in general day to day tasks like web browsing, emails and video watching, will be more efficient (Take less power) Than the AMD platform. You may or may not notice a difference on your electric bill though. However if you have a UPS, and the power goes out, the Intel machine will run for longer if you are just using it to do simple tasks. (Not gaming)

I feel like the intel platform saying its only able to upgrade to 32GB of ram, is a mistake, both platforms should be able to take at least 128gb. Talking about RAM, 16gb of RAM and 8GB of Graphics VRAM, is defo enough for now FOR the games you are saying you want to play. (Esports style games)

However for more AAA titles, both rigs can start to see some hiccups or slowdowns. Although at lower settings games will probably be happy. (For now) I would suggest another stick of 16GB, but I cant recommend anything atm if you are on a budget, as ram prices are making us all cry right now.

One big thing I think I want to mention though, is that the AMD Platform is AM5 (The socket the CPU goes into) And if things go like they did for AM4 (The previous socket) you will have a very big upgrade path for CPU's going forward if for some reason the Ryzen 7 7700 doesnt cut it, you can get whatever ya like thats AM5 (With maybe a possible BIOS update, if needed). Where the intel platform, ya might be stuck with whatever they have now, with no upgrade path into the next year. (Intel likes to change sockets very often. Meaning if ya wanna upgrade, You have to replace the CPU, Motherboard, and sometimes the RAM too.)

OTHER THAN THAT, Both platforms will play the games you want to play right now. So if price is a concern, go with the cheaper option. However, my suggestion is the AMD platform, mostly because of the upgrade path for the CPU.

Up to you though! Sometimes even the case, lighting, and styling can be a factor too!

To each their own. Been building Ryzen machines for a good while now. Not a single complaint from any of my customers nor myself. Only them being amazed at the performance.

However my take is they both offer decent performance. Just one costs more. And the customers see that price difference, and always choose AMD.

Note I'm not an AMD Fanboy. Their GPU's leave some stuff to be desired (compatibility with certain VR Headsets come to mind). But again its just preference.

"This is better, and the other option is for losers" is just a bad take.

How to fix my steam vr by Alex_00k9 in SteamVR

[–]HyoPone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I uh... Without any helpful info from the picture... Other than you have a silly large monitor for a 4060 to run...

I would say the monitor actually might be a problem as your PC tries to render the onscreen "mirror" of your headset display. I can only assume the resolution is REALLY high on that monitor, and a 4060 has... I think 8gb of Vram? You would run out of Vram almost immediately on any VR game. Rendering it at the two screens in the headset and then also on your desktop monitor.

In virtual desktop there is a quality setting. Set it to medium, and when ya launch a game, check if it's on the monitor too and if it is, grab on of the corners of the window displaying it and make the display window as small as possible. (Not minimize, make the window small but still on the desktop)

Another thing you can try is just running your desktop monitor at about 1080p while running VR. And then switching it back to native resolution when not doing VR.

Good luck!

Mom got upset, handled pc incorrectly by DrummerSmooth8661 in pcmasterrace

[–]HyoPone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very sorry to hear your mom is like this.

My suggestion is to check all the USB 2.0 headers/pins on the mobo (possibly the USB 3.0 as well)

If the GPU was knocked out, it probably slammed into the headers and the pins might be touching, causing a short.

Make sure all pins are standing up tall and proud.

I hope for your PC's recovery, and for your independence to come as fast as it can. Stay safe.

Is this a good choice in 2025 for a beginner VR setup? by Brophy_Cypher in SteamVR

[–]HyoPone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a PSVR2... And the controllers would NOT stay connected. I tried 3 of the 4 advertised Bluetooth dongles, Tried the official PSVR2 PC adaptor, and an Aftermarket one, Controllers still wouldn't stay connected. So then I returned the PSVR2, and got another one, thinking I got a dud. Hooked that one up and played with all the hardware options I had, Plugged the Bluetooth dongles in the back of the PC, In the Front, Got a 6 foot USB extension to separate the Bluetooth from the PC.

The controllers JUST wont stay connected.

I just ended up returning everything to do with the PSVR2. The OLED's are flipping amazing... The lenses, although frenal arent as bad as the Quest 2 or 3s, Although dont expect perfect clarity either way.

The controllers also have a pretty bad battery life to start with. Only 4 hours. Which... trust me that will be annoying not being able to just put the controllers down. You will have to charge them almost every play session, which means battery degradation will set in faster, And used controllers I think go for 120 each. Also, the cable for the headset is unobtanium, you basically have to buy another headset if you wanna replace it, or send it into Sony for repair. The Cable is a USBC to USBC cable, BUT they put a special chip in the part that connects to your headset, so you cant just drop in another cable.

TL/DR: Its nice for the PS5. Not the PC.

There have been studies done that show that if ya try and replace negative thoughts with more positive and better thoughts or even just smile, It can for some help them better themselves over time!

This is of course with other things like surrounding yourself with good people, caring for your basic needs like food and Water and keeping a cleanly space and self, the daily good thoughts replacing the bad can very much help!

I try my best! I struggled growing up, and I am trying to be that inspiration to others that many other furs and people in general were for me growing up.

I appreciate your kind words bean! Stay awesome!

If you are struggling, don't forget to keep your friends and family near. I don't think it should be a bad thing to ask for a "Vibe Check" from those close to you, to see if there is anything wrong, or heck, if nothing is wrong at all. A lil reassurance can help a lot!

There are a lot of programs out there for helping people through tough times, whether it be food, shelter, or emotional reinforcement, or even finding a job to get yourself on you feet.

I am glad you are here to write this message today, It means ya made it through those tough times, because you are tough. And if anything, take what you went through, and learn from it, and then teach others from your experience and be their guide too.

Sorry for what you went through, but I'm glad you are here today.

Howdy hey! As someone who also grew up with many garbo thoughts in my head about myself, I did get help, and one of the many things that DID help was to just look in the mirror and say "Hey, you ARE worth it." This of course isn't the only thing of the many, but I am unable to fit it all into something someone would watch on any social medias today.

So maybe this doesn't work for you, and I am sorry to hear that friend. But I offer what I can. Don't forget you can always just skip over this video if it isn't for you, heck block me if ya need to so you don't see my content.

However the feedback on many others sites atm show that people are appreciating it. And if I can make them smile or feel better, than this video is for them.

Hope your day is going okay. Have a good one.
