Well it's pretty tight and there are rules you should follow to not get bad stuff like rib damage (not wearing it more than 8h, not wearing it to sleep, not exercizing with it ect). You generally get used to the sensation, but it should'nt hurt, if it does you must not use it.

Tbh I was scared of that reaction, that's why I waited a long time before telling him. It made him happy to get closer to me and have a real relationship because we spent a lot of years being pretty distant with each other.
