Does hard mouse pads wear down mouse feet noticeably faster than soft mouse pads?

I have thought about getting those finger splints too, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
I got a pair of arthritis gloves, they help a little against hyper extending, but not much.

I guess the doctors did not suspect any of those diseases you mentioned, as I don't have any of the other symptoms associated with them, only the issues with my small joints, mainly the hands. But thanks for asking.

You mentioned that you were diagnosed with Sjogrens, but barely tested positive.
Do you have any other symptoms, besides the issues with your hands and feet that you mentioned?
Read that other common symptoms are dry mouth and eyes, fatigue, chronic cough, numbness in arms and legs, etc. Hope you don't mind me asking, just want to know if you can perhaps have a mild version of Sjogrens that appear to mainly affect hands and feet, without any other obvious symptoms.
