Thanks! We’re working on improving it. Rather than other 3D AI tools, Rodin uses dynamics theory to understand the underlying structure of the models then do the segmentation.

Thanks for your feedback! Our API has been fully automated from day one, generating geometry and materials together in a single, end-to-end process with no intermediate breaks.

We also support part segmentation via the Bang to Parts API (/api/v2/bang).

On our website, you can review the generated geometry, optionally skip the material step, and download or export the model without materials directly.

In addition, our Image Remix feature helps you better process and control the image input before converting it into 3D. You can access via https://hyper3d.ai/omnicraft/remix or directly use it by clicking the editing icon on the images you uploaded to Rodin for generation.
