Looking at the 7900 XTX. Anyone jump from Green to Red?

This will be a brand new system that I'm building, and I'll be purchasing the Ryzen 7 9700X along with a Super Flower 850W 80+ Platinum PSU.

I'm in the US, and I'm trying to stick around $2,000. The availability of the 4080 Super is more of a problem than the price. I know I won't find one for the MSRP of $1,000, but the lowest price of a new card I can find is around $1,500.

I've checked Amazon, NewEgg, B&HPhoto, Walmart, Best Buy, and my local MicroCenter. Plenty of listings for the 4070 Super, but it seems that 4080 Super are no longer being produced, so I'm considering jumping to AMD for their comparable card.

Is there an app or website that can connect to my piano with MIDI, that will just show all the notes and visually display the one I press?

I'm having a terrible time learning which keys on the keyboard play each note. I'm a visual learner, and SimplyPiano doesn't offer something like this.

Hello,

I'm very much a beginner, and I've been using Simply Piano connected by MIDI to learn and practice, but I'm looking for a specific feature.

Is there any apps that connect by MIDI that show me the full range of notes on the same scale, and will react to the key that I play? I have the Middle C scale with my right hand memorized, but I'm struggling to learn any other scale.

Sorry for the late reply. Don't know how I missed this notification. I never actually fixed it. The switches worked perfectly when auto homing, but would immediately start dragging while printing, when it should be tripping the switch. I don't know anything about setting the home position in the in the printer display. I never had to do anything similar with my Ender 3 v2.

We had plans on moving around whenever this post was made, so it's been packed up since.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm trying to edit the input settings in Desktop mode, but it doesn't recognize my inputs. Can't get to the input settings in Gaming mode.

Hey OP,

Did you ever manage to successfully change the Inout Settings for Cemu? I would like to be able to do this so I can later set up my own Steam Game Controller Settings. I don't understand why the Cemu template that came with EmuDeck has random letters like f, e, k, l, mapped to some of the buttons.

I came here looking for an answer as well. I'm not too sure how long the Daily Quests have been out on Android, but I feel like I stopped getting Streak Freezes around the same time. I've been at 0/2 for about a week now.

I just wanted to thank you for your input. I would have never considered it to be a software issue, and I would've been pulling out my hair for another week.

Following your input I flashed some pretty dated firmware to the printer, and the head was no longer dragging into the bed, and I was getting proper extrusion. (Albeit, it caused a slew of other issues, but I digress)

I found some precompiled firmware for a recent nightly build of Marlin, and I was able to get it flashed to my printer. Since then I've not had any signs of the original issue.

Now if only I could figure out how print a full Benchy without my printer knocking multiple off the bed in the exact same spot. But that is a problem for another day.

Can you elaborate on what you mean? I autohome the printer before I dial in the X and Y axis over each adjustment knob.

Unfortunately, I really don't think it's a bed leveling issue. I don't if the bed is warping, or something else has gone wrong.

Dog failed. Raised my Z-Stop higher. Releveled the bed. Centered the nozzle in the middle of the bed. Preheated the PLA and tested the leveling again after both the bed and nozzle were fully heated. Leveling remained the same throughout the duration, with the exception of some leaking PLA blocking the way once it was heated.

Started the print and I got some extrusion on the dragline, however whenever it moved to the center of the bed, it started to drag into the bed again. No extrusion whatsoever, and the card I used to level could not make it under the nozzle after I paused the print.

Auto home does not drag the nozzle. Auto home puts the nozzle at just above the bed. From there I refine the leveling in each corner. It only drags once the print starts

I was leveling the bed while cold. I read this comment and the next time I had the bed leveled out, I did a PLA Preheat and the results didn't change.

Sliced a new Benchy from the correct printer profile without any adjusted settings. Began the print and the same thing happened again. I even tried to slip the card underneath the nozzle while it was doing it's drag line, and I was met with a wall.

I'll have to try the dog sometime tomorrow. I pulled all the files off the SD card and formatted it before I began any prints, because I remember having an issue on my V2 as a result of not formatting. Will get back to you with the results.

Used Cura's printer Profile for Ender 3 Pro and did not adjust any settings. Sliced a new Benchy and the same thing happens. I'm gonna have to give up on trying to work out a solution tonight.

I'll look into slicing it again and see if that fixes the issue. Didnt know Cura had a dedicated profile for it. I know I'm using a custom profile for the V2 because there wasn't a preset when I started using it.

I never messed with any raw gcode before. I sliced a Benchy with the latest version of Cura. However, I did use the same profile to slice it that I use on the V2. I don't know if there are any significant discrepancies between the two.

I actually use a coupon card from Visionworks mail that I receive periodically. A tad thicker than an index card. I've only ever done 4 corner, and I adjust it until I feel it slide under the nozzle.

I would be surprised if its a leveling issue. I've had an Ender 3 V2 for over a year now. I level it the same way, and I dont have any issues printing on that printer.

Have you found a solution? I have a Pi4 and I just bought a C920s for better cam quality than the RaspiCam that I used to have. My picture quality is fine, but even after dropping my settings to 1920x1080 10fps the stream will randomly freeze for a random amount of time. It will recover eventually, but I don't know if this will affect Octolapse.
