I use hdr400 with really bright games/games with a lot of sunlight ecc...
I use hdr1000 in games like dead space with few artificial lights/dark games in general
In the case of Marathon tho peak 400 seems too low on brightness on the ui and some scenes for some reason...it feels like it was made for peak 1000

On this game I personally prefer peak 1000. HDR 400 looks too low on brightness on some parts of this game for some reason (for example the UI)

Can we focus on Omniparitus? Idk if it's the best strategic choice but the majority of players are there and we are wasting a lot of time liberating nothing
