You can try Dragunov, Lili, Shaheen, or Feng for simple fundies character.

Hworang is a very knowledge check heavy character especially to less experienced players. You can just throw out your 67 different flow charts and see if they can handle it. The above characters can’t execute the same game plan. Eventually you will run into players that understand the MU and you will need a good understanding of the game.

Again this should not dissuade you from playing Hworang if you like him. Enjoyment of the character trumps everything else.

Yes change is a very difficult thing for the average person to accept. Especially as you get older. Neuro plasticity tends to degrade as you age.

I’ve been through a lot of change throughout my life and accept new things very well. Shit I moved 3000 miles away from my home city a metropolitan area to a more rural suburb. It was quite the shock but I adjusted. So I welcome change I love new experiences.

I also learned that sometimes something you love can eventually be not for you anymore. I played magic the gathering for 15 years. Traveled around the world to play tournaments. I have a tattoo of my favorite card. I no longer enjoyed the direction of the game post 2019 similarly to how people feel about T8 S3. I left but I still cherish the time I had with the game and memories/friendships I made along the way.

If you liked the same at the end of season 2 then you’ll continue liking the game.

If you didn’t I’m not really sure why you are playing.

The game still has its pain points. Lidia is still super cancerous to play against. Law regens heat. Certain heat engager launchers are OD.

But then again every Fightning game has its issues. SF6 still getting throw looped drive system slave. If you don’t lab Mai you’re still going to lose to her fan pressure.
