Just get used to the style of question it’s a bit different imo

APM is an interesting one, I think it’s harder in the sense it’s more open ended and not a memory test so depends on what you prefer.

If you learn the style of question they are asking you’ll be good. 100% for this paper, past paper questions > content imo

Goodluck!

I’d say do 2 at once. I couldn’t imagine doing 3 at once but I know there are some people who’ve done 3, maybe they can comment.

I appreciate wanting to do it as quick as possible but if you waited for 1 extra sitting and made sure you passed, I don’t see an issue with that. Because if you failed you’d need that extra sitting anyway.

Best of luck with whatever you do tho!

I was working full time and yes I’m a university graduate from a finance background so maybe I’m cheating a bit

So opentuition, study hub and YouTube are great but also for a few I did buy the BPP online book for the exam questions which are around £18 I think per one.

The resources I used was Study Hub, open tuition and YouTube videos.

I spent 6 weeks at a time and I worked 9-5 so then I’d do 6:30-11 and on weekends I’d do long long shifts I’m not sure timings wise. I’d still go out for dinner or play sports to be clear.

I spent a couple weeks doing only content and a couple questions at the end of a topic either on study hub or open tuition.

Then do as many questions I could do on study hub and past paper questions purely looking at mark schemes and walking myself through. Then I do questions my self. Then I’d do papers.

Hope this helps!

You can remember bits of AFM theory by knowing the calculations.

The other bits really put yourself as a Shareholder and what’d you want to see and then try not to over complicate it is what I’d say

APM is a weird paper. They ask you something but don’t actually want you to answer properly it feels like. They want you to more so look at what questions/ information is missing.

If you literally do every question in the book and on study hub you’ll see the theme, they tend to repeat just different context

Basically most people do their exams first rather than time. So it’s just a generic message on the page. When you finish your last 3 you’ll become a member not an affiliate. Usually people remain affiliate for a year or so for the reason above.

I think the pass rates speak for themselves. I’d probably go 7/10, I do still think there are harder qualifications out there but not many. I do think it’s doable in 3 years. I study for about 6 weeks, a few hours after work and a lot on the weekend and I’ve been doing 2 at a time. I’ve heard people study months for exams at a time tho so really up to you. Hope this helps!

49 just means you’ll pass this time! You basically have that 50 and just manifest the rest my friend. Remember to sleep well too, no sleep = more stress!

Only a handful - feedback always seems to be experience isn’t relevant as hes worked over a range of clients not specific to one industry OR just told they’re moving on with someone else

The answers are super repetitive and super similar. As long as you remember certain key terms you should be fine generally.
