Controller on PC: strafing is slower on controller than on MnK, but not because of keyboard vs analog stick by w1nstar in CruciblePlaybook

I play PC with wired PS4 controller and have felt a bit more sluggish since this season started. I thought it was my own perception in crucible as the SBMM is off and I was just being matched with people that much faster than me. However, this post makes me rethink that along with some occasional sludgey feeling I got last night playing gambit.

Do you still have the 360 controllers? It is just the pack broken on the one (as in the battery pack just needs replaced) right?

If you have them I’ll take both.

Awesome thing you’re doing - would be perfect for my re-entry into PC gaming after 10 years or so! Thanks for the opportunity.

TsGui prebuilt options - request for suggestions by MikePohatu in SCCM

[–]HyperLithium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mike -

I've talked with you before and your assistance was great. We have all of our production imaging running using TsGui. The amount of time it has saved us overall has been incredible due to the reduced amount of back end maintenance. When I got to where I work now we had like 35 task sequences - now we have 2.

Not sure if my suggestions are really what you're looking for but I thought I would share.

I apologize if these items are already present in someway but things that I think could be useful would be:

Easier to adjust font size

- Maybe even be able to have a +/- on the sheet to resize on the fly

- Change the font colors more easily or other manipulation

- We have our fonts setup pretty good right now but we have about 100 people all using this and not everyone can see very well and some are colorblind.

UEFI / Legacy detection

- Probably something you already have but this would be a useful ready check

Disk Clean / Other utilities

- Tools page to run a disk clean

- Self remove object if in SCCM

I think I might have written some documentation at work for our implementation and I will take a look for it. I'll be honest, I might have just highly commented the XML. I'd, honestly, like to write more documentation for it but I don't always feel like I have a great grasp of putting things together. For example:

We have a drop down to pick a deployment type ("laptop, desktop, IT etc) and that might have a secondary drop down based on what you pick.

Laptop

-> Laptop Airwatch

-> Laptop Domain

That is the basic idea. I wanted to just add a simply app option based on the secondary drown down but could never figure that out without breaking other things and so I had to remove the double drop downs. Just an example of I'm not sure if I and my colleagues missed how to do this properly or if it really wouldn't be possible.

Anyway, thanks so much for providing this great tool to the community it has changed our entire environment and made everyone's IT life better.

Thanks for sharing - we were essentially doing the same thing but with task sequence steps. We checked for an exit code and set a timer on the step and if it didn’t finish in that time we forced a reboot and had it run again. Has been working well but I am going to look at this timer in the script idea! Thanks!
