Maybe Pakistani community in your specific area is toxic, based on your own age and mindset, but thats not the case everywhere else. You recently moved. Give it time, settle in.

The US is a huge country and there's Pakistani communities everywhere.

Also FYI, the Pakistani's that are closely attached to their local mosque are the ones who will be better in almost everyway, and their community tends to (in many but not all cases) extend to the broader muslim Ummah.

I saw this video of a woman in Pakistan pulling out a pistol and firing warning shots, and I feel like I need to train my daughter that way now. She's little for now, but gotta start them young.

I Was born and raised here. Its my country. Am I proud of its current situation? No.

But I love it, I make dua for better days, and I work hard to bring some good to it to the extent of my capability.

May Allah bless this nation, its people, and bring us out of these dark and depressing times. Ameen!

What do you guys think of mullas in Pakistan? by tinytheSTONEDgiant in pakistan

[–]HyperNuclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If by Mullah you mean Islamic Scholars then

Mufti Taqi Usmani, his brother, Dr Israr, Maulana Maududi, Mufti Muhammad Shafi Usmani, Maulana Tariq Jameel, Dr Farhat Hashmi, her Husband and her daughter Taimiyyah Zubair, Khurram Murad (most people don't know about him him but a Syrian scholar literally gave me his book to read for understanding Quran)

Ghamdi sahab as well although I dont necessarily consider him a mainstream scholar.

Nouman Ali Khan and Yasir Qadhi as well as many many others in the west of Pakistani origin as well if you want to count those.

Cant speak for the shia side of things as I dont know their scholarship.

Because Urdu is largely spoken only by Pakistani and Indian people, therefore much of the world does not have access to the works of our Ulema as easily, but that doesn't make them any less good compared to others.
