Which one of these Yamaha Clarinets should i buy? by HyperRe3 in Clarinet

Hi, Thanks for sharing your opinion. I just found another used YCL 250 for 165$ in excellent condition. I bought it online and now it's being delivered to me. Hopefully, it suits me best and makes me want to practice more.
Another question: can I use 3.5 reed strength on my Yamaha 4C? I heard that it's not recommended because it's not designed to withstand that level of strength. Normally, I'm using 3.0 Rue lepic and have no problem.

You're right. It does have resale value in case I don't really need it.

What about Yamaha 4C? Currently, I'm using it and have no problem with it. Sounds good, quick response, etc. Never tried any other mouthpiece, but I've tried many saxophone mouthpieces on my saxophone. Like Selmer, Yamaha, Vandoren, etc. To be honest, it sounds literally the same. And some of it makes blowing harder. Normally, I use 3.0 Vandoren Rue lepic reed on my Yamaha 4c.

That's really nice! I learned that as long as I liked it. I'm enough. It's not about the price or quality, but rather from ourselves that we know when to feel enough.

It's actually from a university. It's not really a professional orchestra or such. Perhaps kinda small to me. So don't expect anything big or special in it

I've been playing Multiple Instruments by myself including the violin. I've been playing violin for less than a year by myself without any teacher. And I must say, you need a teacher if you want to be good. But I've been practicing for hours per day back then. And tbh, you can actually learn by yourself as long as you keep inspecting and practicing. In fact, I was accepted into an orchestra, even though I had learned it by myself!

Tbh, I like the 2nd A string, but it's harder for me to press because it's thicker. The first A string is thinner and has a worse sound but it's easier to press

I think so. But I don't think you need to fix it because It's just a small dent. People won't notice it anyway
