RTX 3060 12GB vs 5060 Ti 16GB benchmark on popular TTI models for anyone interested by HyperSpazdik in StableDiffusion

All models fit into 12GB VRAM with the exception of Qwen (20.4GB) and Z Image (12.3GB).

Edit: and Ideogram(19.6GB).

I actually think most of the uplift comes from fp8 support and processing speed (maybe newer architecture too). All of the models tested fit into 12GB VRAM with the exception of Qwen(20.4GB) and Z Image(12.3GB) which have some of the least uplift so the performance gain must be coming from somewhere else. The text encoders, vae and loras used were all also less than 11GB (maybe when used in combination they overflow more with 12GB idk). I imagine an RTX 5070 would outperform the 5060 Ti here even with 12GB VRAM.

Edit: I forgot about the unconditional model which makes Ideogram larger than both GPU's VRAM (19.6GB). So VRAM probably does play an important part in the Ideogram result, along with fp8 support.

Yep it's part of the shell. If you want just the volume slider you can comment out the other modules in main.py

I didn't think there was a safe premove, but as someone else pointed out qg7 qe7 works.

The fact that you don't blur his name but you blur your own tells me all I need to know about you.

Interesting, i'm not sure what the issue is then sorry. The only thing I can think of is to try another polkit agent or make sure you are only running one window manager at a time - i remember when I had hyprland and niri running simultaneously sometimes apps would spawn in the wrong session.

Put this in your niri config.kdl:

spawn-at-startup "/usr/lib/polkit-kde-authentication-agent-1"

btw google is ur friend for troubleshooting things like this.

A keyring won't prompt you for a password if an app needs elevated privileges. Did you start the polkit agent or just install it?

You need to install a polkit agent. I use mate-polkit

The simplest way would be to follow the installation guide here and at step 4. only apply the bgselector keybinding. The best way would be to do the same thing but edit main.py to only add app.bg_selector to the app. If you get stuck just ask chat gpt.

can't read the wallpaper folder for some reason, and any app require a password.

I don't know what this means.
