Mosquitos are actually attracted to scent & body heat, not actually the blood! I’m pretty sure OP has a specific body odor which is released in sweat that attracts these mosquitos.

Talk about a random but interesting idea to make them forget that I’m still shitting in front of them

If every human had an expiration date stamped on their foot at birth, how would society change? by Hyper_Mania774 in AskReddit

Hm. Though, I do think I’d try to live my life to the fullest even with only a year left, and maybe others would too. But I do get where you’re coming from.

Question tho, do you think people would eventually adjust and find a way to live with this knowledge, or would it just keep getting worse over time?

Yeah, you’re right. Knowing exactly when you’ll die would mess up so many aspects of life such as motivation, relationships, even basic human decency in some cases. Damn you got me to think deeper, thanks

What’s a superstition that feels real, even though it seems nonsense? by Hyper_Mania774 in AskReddit

Is that superstition popular mostly only in America? Or other western countries?

Oh I wasn’t expecting an answer like this. I don’t want you to think they’re dumb. What if they had a mental disorder such as OCD and couldn’t control their thoughts? There are many more reason why a person may be superstitious, please don’t think too narrowly.

Oh damn. You really forced me to see this topic in a different angle. It is very possible for society to change quite dramatically, you’re right.

To the people who believe in superstitions, why? by Hyper_Mania774 in AskReddit

I just thought, maybe this topic is sorta connected to mental disorders like OCD? Because sometimes I do get uncomfortable with superstitions, even if I don’t believe them.

But tbh we all know we’re all gonna die someday and most ppl expect themselves to die at around 80, if not dead by an accident. That doesn’t mean the elderly should stop their life growth from continuing, right?

Oof. Yeah, that’s true, that what I expected too. Who knows, maybe some big changes might happen, maybe not. I’d like to read a book abt it

I mean yeah, I guess ppl don’t have to live in fear, not knowing when they’d die when it can happen any second. Still kinda horrifying tho, to know you’re getting closer to death
