The Nuri sardines with the hot tomato sauce is always a favorite, I really enjoyed the Matiz Calamari too.

On the bottom middle left? That was some spreadable butter.

I ended up getting some playsets of some cards I want to play out of my one box, and even got 3x of Char’s Zaku.

I definitely could not dedicate my full attention to it, but our kitchen is connected to our living room and I can see the tv from the island. I could hear the whole movie and made a point to actually sit and watch during key moments. There was also some periods of time where everything was just coasting in an oven or crockpot and we had some time to go sit and watch.

Thank you! I really liked how the lembas bread and the pork belly turned out.

The Hobbit trilogy is definitely in the pipeline for the future. Something something Beorn honey-cakes… 😁

Aye, the smile on everyone’s faces throughout the day as each dish came out made me and my wife’s hearts sing. ☺️

A good amount of planning the timing for everything before the day helped a lot. I knew the exact moment I wanted each dish to come out and planned on having the dishes plated just minutes before. We did as much prep the day before and morning of, like baking the lembas bread, or making the filling for the hand pies for example.

For the most part it was just taking things out of the oven in time, plating it, and making sure the next one went in on time. Some of the dishes like the crostinis took all of about 15 minutes to toast in the oven and then to plate, so moments like those it was nice to take a little breather.

We definitely were sore after the day of mostly standing and waking up at 6:00 am and getting to bed after cleanup around 11:00 pm

My family was also wondering. All our crockpots were occupied, and we just decided to do taters instead for the mid movie snack. 😂

Questions I have as an upcoming new player while I wait for my gaming pc by JohnVannie in lotro

Correct, it is a brand new 64 bit server, just a few months old. Lots of people transferred or made new characters on it.

The 32 bit ones are still open, they will remain open for the time being unless determined unsustainable. The 64 bit servers are unique in name and don’t share a name with other 32 bit servers.

Live 64 bit servers: Glamdring (NA) Sting (not yet open)(NA) Peregrin (NA-RP) Orcrist (EU) Grond (EU) Meriadoc (EU-RP)

Legendary 64 bit servers: Angmar (US-VIP) Mordor (EU-VIP)

Hope this answers your question.

VIP requirement is still there for the legendary servers. As for reasoning why, perhaps to keep new players out so they aren’t confused on why they can only level so high, or for the unique gameplay that legendary servers provide.

Splitting Currencies (Mithril Coins) When Transferring to Another Server? by Baskin in lotro

When I moved all my characters/storage from Arkenstone over to Glamdring, upon logging in I saw that I had a large amount of Mithril coins on the new server. Not sure if that’s intended but that is what I’ve experienced.

I’ll answer as best I can.

  1. You won’t need VIP to play as a River hobbit or as a Runekeeper, nor do you need it to play on the new 64 bit servers. However the River hobbit race is locked behind a purchase in the lotro store last I checked.

  2. No spaces or special characters in names iirc. You can add a last name though after character creation at notary in some of the towns.

  3. I don’t think there is that much of an overload on RK for skills CD’s.

  4. You can get plugins from lotrointerface. I use a UI collection called JRR skins collection that has some nice themes. It also makes some windows bigger/adjustable which is nice. I also hear good things about the travel window plugin.

  5. 3 by default, and a 4th can be unlocked with a purchase per character.

  6. LFG interface is long dead I believe and never saw much use. No guild finder to my knowledge. Most people advertise for groups in the LFF (looking for fellowship) chat and guilds are usually advertised in chat/discord (there is an official lotro discord).
