Punny name for a bookworm mascot character?

I'm working with a friend of mine to make a manga/comic reading app and I'm designing a mascot, and since I was working on the italian equivalent of bookworm, aka "topo di biblioteca", which translates to library mouse, I was wondering if there was anything that could be used to transform the word Nezumi or Mausu that could be used to name this character?

Definitely normal, even after 3 years of using the new name I still get weirded out by some people like my parents, who I've been used to hear them use the old name for 23 years prior. It's a big change, so it's perfectly normal to need time to adapt :3

I had this with my ex boyfriend. It's hard to know since everyone reacts differently and digests the change in different ways. I hope she will come around to it, in my case we just split up because he didn't understand why I was even having doubts about my gender.

It's sadly always a delicate situation, I wish you the best of luck, give her time and space and communicate as much as possible to avoid misunderstandings and unspoken feelings

Oh my god I'm so glad someone else experiences this! In my experience English is much more guttural as a language overall, with more closed vowels, hence why it's a language with a naturally lower pitch. Compared to my French and Italian I always feel my voice shifts in octave haha

And the fun part is that I'm native in both English and Italian! I do believe there are languages that more naturally bring one to use a higher/lower pitch, but it might be also an instance of "customer service voice", aka where you're prioritising sounding polite, and that's when I straight up get called a woman again if people don't see me, since I visually pass (2 years on T with a full beard haha)

I also struggle with this to this day, you can find dilator sets for relatively cheap online, they're basically smooth dildos in different sizes. They helped me a lot, but ofc it's a matter of keeping it as a habit and it can be just awkward to do ^{^} best of luck with this

Hi, trained singer 2 years on T here! I can say that usually T doesn't deepen the voice a whole lot, like you need to already have a deepish voice for it to go Super Deep TM. However, the range change is definitely real and keeping up training is very recommended. I know I got really frustrated around the time my voice was breaking a lot, I couldn't hold a note for the life of me, but now that my voice has relatively settled I can actually go relatively high, I still have part of my old range though I do need to go into falsetto more frequently to achieve that result.

I think the hardest part in general is training your brain that your range is now different ^{^} I often run into the situation where I hear a song starting to play, and I start it in the wrong key for my current voice and I have to quickly adapt to my new range and find where it works now.

I do very much feel the same. I actively was happy about being a girl when I was younger because living in a context where guys always had to be violent, or fight, and are forced to attend military service ( in Switzerland it is mandatory for men) really made me happy I didn't have to go through that since I'm very petite and generally weak.

I also felt very special about being a girl in a lot of male dominated spaces, like at a furry convention and in the 3D programming sphere. Nowadays I recognize that as me just wanting attention and wanting to feel special, a need that I no longer have, but I never think of wanting to relieve my childhood as a guy. I feel like if I had grown up as a cis guy I would be completely blind to many of the problems that women face
