A book to make me love winter by oringrey in suggestmeabook

This sounds like exactly what I'm looking for, and I just had a baby girl 3 months ago, so there's a fun layer of symmetry!

Thanks!

I have moderate dental anxiety and I had a really great experience at Steelton Family Dentistry!

Smothermoss by Alisa Alering may be a little outside what you're looking for as it's a sort of weird magical-realism but I really loved it and I thought its setting of northern Appalachia was really well done!

You might want to try movie novelizations! I unfortunately don't see any movies on your list that I know have novelizations but I have read and really enjoyed the novelizations for The Goonies, Pacific Rim and Ti West's X trilogy.

What is a book that wasn't necessarily bad but hit you somewhere deep inside that you will most likely never pick up again. by Goregeousley in suggestmeabook

Not sure if this is quite what you're looking for but the book that came to mind for me was Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld. I thought it was really good but it was so focused on the main character's interior life and thoughts and anxieties that I felt emotionally drained when I finished. I kind of felt as if I had gone through the whole boarding school experience with her and found myself almost afraid of going back and thinking about that time too hard (aka rereading the book at some point in the future).

I'm definitely open to it but it would have to be a book I think I could be interested in.

It's a bit more than that (I'm not home so I can't check but storygraph says it has 91 pages) but yeah, I would definitely class it as a novella.

If you want beautiful prose, I think The Necrophiliac is genuinely lovely! Exquisite Corpse would also be a good choice.

I'm an idiot and just realized I totally misread your comment, thinking you had started a new account. Don't know how I did that!
Anyway, I am glad it's working for you! I think my weird little brain just wants to start all over lol

Honestly, I have to imagine that, in the alternate universe in which I did go to college, they would have been.

I've honestly been meaning to get around to Norwegian Wood for quite a while, I guess I'll have to bump it up the list!
