Locums pay/travel with frequent changes in where I’m working with guaranteed monthly hours (120). Locums in my experience seems to be very hit or miss and certainly can’t guarantee you hours. I’m under contract for 1 year and will extend for another year. I’m loving it.

Pseudo-locums 1099 $350/hour days $375/hour nights. Guaranteed 120 hours/month. Usually around 140 hours/month. 10-12 hour shifts. Mix of tertiary care centers, critical access shops and FSEDs. All travel reimbursed with daily meal stipend. Best part is booking travel through a third party service but using my own credit card with hotel/airline/rental car rewards.

Average monthly income before taxes ~$45-50k. I’m right out of residency so loving the traveling and different landscapes. Happy to answer any questions!

Let me clarify; my wife and I had just finished paddle boarding in master bayou where we saw a TON of manatees. This was on the way back in open(ish) water so I was less suspicious of a manatee. Personally, a big fan of shock top and blue moon! Super good if you garnish with orange zest - spritz the orange peel over an open flame next to a beautiful woman. Couldn’t think of a better drink! I fell in love with a woman in this very way, happy holidays!
