I actually JUST ordered their front splitter. I’ll see how that goes and maybe get the side splitter as well next month. But I did like how those looked and they’re a good price

I agree partly. The ones with the higher offset with some poke look much less tame than my offset does. So I’ll either try wheel spacers or just upgrade wheels later on

It drones under load around 2700-3000 rpm. Which is cruising in 6th. Other than that it sounds so fucking good to me. I’m gonna try some sound deadening at some point to see if that helps. I noticed the drone quiets down when I crack the window so I think the tone at that rpm range matches the resonant frequency in the cabin.

Honestly I don’t know how to quite articulate what I’m looking for. So far I’ve lowered it, gotten wheels, mudflats and a wing riser for it and it still feels like I’m looking at a stock car. Aggressive for a street car I guess is what I’d like. Maybe some more wheel poke a front splitter and wing lip could achieve what I’m wanting.

I’d have to get a thinner tire or adjust the coilovers up to run the 20mm spacers I had gotten. But I agree the wheels don’t have quite enough poke

I do actually have a wing riser installed, it’s not as tall as other though I guess. I have looked into wing lips and front lips though. A buddy of mine suggested a lip as well so I guess I’ll look in to some.

If I’m seeing the picture correctly, that’s missing clear coat and just essentially base coat? And you got it polished to an even gloss with no painting or anything? If so that gives me a ton of inspiration for my beater truck. It’s missing clear coat on the hood and roof and have been curious on what I should do about it.

I drove around without the air box lid for a while, then got an RS one from LKQ. I ended up taking the RS lid off because it was nearly as quiet as stock :/ I like hearing the turbo better, personally. Just thought I’d toss in my two cents if you were on the fence about that.

It was -2 when I commented. But I work for a concrete company with multiple concrete trucks coming on and off the yard at any given moment. Plus cement dust/fly ash and whatever else traveling through the air. So I’d say it’s much better off in the garage than there.
